A few random thoughts:

-Finley played a huge role in the game. Grant also had a nice game. I think Starks will be fine, but can Q make the plays that we need? The rookies will need to step up.

-Rodgers was great. I'm sure that he isn't worried about going up against this defense.

-Both teams are much improved this year. Our secondary was garbage last year. Bush as the nickel, Bell as the dime. Our secondary this year is far superior with Shields.

-We have to get Big Ben down when we have the opportunities. When you let him extend the plays, he kills you. But if teams can get him down, a lot of good things can happen.

-I can't believe that they pulled it off on that final drive. But then, I can't believe that the Steelers attempted an onside kick with less than 4 minutes left in the game. There is no doubt about it: Tomlin knows what our offense can do.

It was strange seeing Finley and Grant on the field.

But I feel confident that the Packers can beat the Steelers. Since the Lions game, things have been breaking the right way for the Packers and this is one of those situations where they can avenge a bad loss from the recent past. The incentive for the defense going into the season was all of the uncertainty as to their ability to beat an elite quarterback. They've done it this year, and beating the rapist can be the last feather in their cap. The Steelers will probably be missing three starters on the offensive line. The defense has been getting turnover after turnover in the fourth quarter. The offense will be able to move the ball against these guys. This team appears to be focused, with their eyes on the prize. It was sweet picking up the Halas trophy at Soldier Field. Nothing would be better than accepting the Lombardi trophy in Jerah's house. Jesus H., I'm ready for the kickoff.

And I like the way Rodgers has been hitting Nelson in the playoffs this year. When Philly doubled Jennings, he went there. After a couple catches by Greg on the opening drive, the pass to Nelson put it inside the five.

If Rodgers can stay upright, it wouldn't surprise me to see him get four TD passes.
