Packers/Steelers different takes on concussions

So in 1 article Hines Ward is whining about the NFL not helping former players with injuries and not caring about the players but then the next article he's whining about all the fuss about head injuries.

I can understand both sides of this.

Hell when I was young and dumb I would have kept trying to play, that is the natural competitiveness. For me not to have continued playing in any game if I felt like I could go on, a coach (or someone in authority) would have had to tell me to sit.


But, knowing what we know nowadays, if my son is out there looking hurt, I am going to make sure he does not go back into a game without a doctor saying he believes he's good to go.
