I can understand both sides of this.

Hell when I was young and dumb I would have kept trying to play, that is the natural competitiveness. For me not to have continued playing in any game if I felt like I could go on, a coach (or someone in authority) would have had to tell me to sit.


But, knowing what we know nowadays, if my son is out there looking hurt, I am going to make sure he does not go back into a game without a doctor saying he believes he's good to go.
