This is terrible news for Rodgers. If they're always winning in the fourth quarter, how is he going to prove to the world he can lead a fourth quarter comeback? I tell you what, he needs to start playing like crap in the first 3 quarters so he has a few more opportunities to be clutch in the fourth quarter.....
4th quarter comebacks are over rated. It means some aspect of your team sucks. Life is easier if they are never necessary. I prefer lopsided scores in favor of the Pack anyway. I say more power to him if he can hold the record for never being on the short end of a 4th quarter score. It sure helps in the stress department. Just saying ....
I prefer not having to make fourth-quarter comebacks, for the health of my ticker and for the ears of my children. Smiler

That said, I recall those days a few years ago when ARod would bring the team back only to see the other team either break the kickoff for a 60-yard return and we'd lose, or to see our defense give up a 50-yard pass play and we lose. I was at the Carolina game when ARod led us to a score with around a minute to play, only to see us give up a 45-yard return and then a 50-yard pass and we lose.

Our D is a whole lot better than that was, but so many flukey things can happen when it comes down to one score at the end.
Rodgers 2 greatest comebacks that I can recall actually ended up being Packer losses. The comeback vs. the defending Super Bowl Champion Steelers in Pittsburgh was remarkable only to have it all come crashing down on the final play of the game. Then a few weeks later, the comeback over the defending NFC Champion Cardinals was incredible but the refs blew that last facemask call and the Pack lost. Rodgers had a few comeback wins, but even his comeback losses have been impressive.
Evidently falling behind by 3 in the 4th quarter is tougher to overcome than being on the road and falling behind 13-0 and 14-0. Matt Ryan has a bunch of 4th quarter comebacks but frankly the guy sucks.

Against our 4th & 5th DB's no less (minus Woodson plus a banged up Sam Shields)

I'll fully admit I was worried when Woodson went out but Jarrett Bush to the rescue!! (Thanks Jarrett for studying the film with Woodson)

When I was young we used to live in a shoebox in the middle of the road and every night our father would wake us up at 10:00, half an hour before we went to bed, and beat us and kill us and make us lick the road clean with our tongues.

You try to tell that to kids, nowadays, and they don't believe ya!
I'm not sure how this article, or the "front runner" one, are perceived as negative towards Rodgers. The author is basically just stating the facts which show that Rodgers and the Packers are consistently dominating teams early in games (prior to the 4th quarter) and holding their leads.

11 games in a row without once trailing in the 4th quarter is an impressive streak, the most in NFL history, and that's why I posted it.

EDIT:

Front runnner article

I went back and looked at the front runner article. It is somewhat negative towards Rodgers, suggesting he is overrated in some ways. Still, the 4th quarter streak is a good thing, not a bad one.
the guy who wrote the article is Still Swinging from kffl.

He wrote that article to make the point that rodgers would not be that good if not for the defense and offense TT has surrounded him with.

Trust us the writer has a hard on for Big Ben and still cant stand he lost the SB to an inferior qb like Rodgers.

I think I'd also toss in last year's regular season Falcons game. Big game in terms of HFA, tough crowd, team and fans were jacked up, and the last drive and throw to Jordy were a thing of beauty, only to have it left for naught by the KR and facemask penalty.

Ryan did next to nothing to get the win that day. Nothing but checkdowns for the FG.

This is the simple truth. Ask SS today who is the better QB, and after trying to dodge the question he will insist Roeth > Rodgers.

His new outlet at CHFF allows him to post "facts" without the readers being fully aware of his bias, but they'll find out soon enough b/c being contrary is too ingrained in his nature. It's no accident that two of first op-eds were dedicated to taking shots at Rodgers, and if he gets tired of going after Rodgers, Brady and Welker will be next.
Hm. Score at halftime yesterday was 24-3 GB... and that was the final, right? Guess that means the Packers have taken hold of a brand new record again. Ho-hum.

EDIT: Apparently not. They gotta win 2 more games to overtake the 1942-43 Redskins, who have 13 straight wins without trailing in the 4th.
