Plus with 7 of our starters on IR!
egg fukkinxactly. The bares were all in trying to keep the Pack out of the playoffs. FU lovie you smug **** and take kworst with you.

Couldn't agree more!

Sounds like those guys are doing nothing but heaping praise on the Bears. They used the word "proud"!

Technically, Statler and Waldorf would be heckling the Chicago Team, not crying about the defeat. Wink

They're actually slathering the Bears with praise right now.
Stayed with this thread all the way through the game. A little chippy at times, a reflection of the stress to be sure.

To everyone, especially those who kept the faith from beginning to end, TAKE A BOW. Packer fans have the biggest hearts in the NFL!

I think there is some policy in the NFL where game announcers have to slant everything toward the team with the better record. It was pretty gross today with Buck and Aikman.

Had to come down from slippery Goodall, the Giants would be a bigger Television draw then the Pack. Acheman was so over the top, unreal.

tell you what Kevin Greene must be one hell of a coach. Brad Jones, Zombo and now Walden. Walden looked good in coverage also. I liked how they used him to spy on Cutler

Buck and Acheman speaking very highly of the Pack right now, Troy says AR is the QB he would want to have right now.

Sometimes I think people get to wound up when announcers say good things about opposing teams.
Can't stand Buck, he's very smug. He said something today that got my wife really worked up whereas i'm usually the reactionary one during the games.

Aikmen however I do like, he did have some mighty fine praise for the pack post game.
Congrats to the Pack. That was a good old fashioned, hard fought defensive battle. The Pack should be proud of their victory, and I'm proud my team made you earn it.

Hopefully, we'll see each other in the NFC Championship Game. Wouldn't that be sweet? Smiler

agreed. Would love to tee it up again..

One game at a time

Time will tell

Time is on our side

Walden = book it
A couple weeks ago, Jimmy Johnson was saying "put a fork in them, they're done" about GB. Today he says they are the most dangerous team in the playoffs. These guys just have to say stuff to fill time. Nothing to get all worked up about.
BND, you're a class act. Wish more Bears fans were like you.

At first I questioned Lovie leaving the starters in the entire game, but he knew this was basically a playoff game, and needed to get the Bears in that mindset. And to be honest, I'm glad that we won it by beating the best you guys had.

Your defense is just Godly.

This was a good old fashioned Black and Blue division, knock down, drag out fight. We're both in, and I'm hoping we meet again in a few weeks!!

Good luck to the Bears (except if we play them, of course!)

Go Pack Go!!!!!
I'm a little surprised B-N-D but Lovie and the entire Bears team definitely didn't want the Packers in the playoffs. I'm sure the Giants were thankful the Bears didn't roll over.

That was interesting.

I give the Bears "D" credit. I didn't think they could shut down the Packers offense and they brought it all game long.
Boris, would you agree that there's something beautiful about a defensive game like this one? Not a lot of Sports Center highlights, just two brawlers going at it, giving everything they have, until one of them finally drops.

Our defense can play with any team in the league. period. And as I'm flipping around, different sportscasters are singing the praises of the Pack. Jimmy Johnson called them the most dangerous team in the playoffs, Terry Bradshaw or Howie Long (I forget which) said the Pack are the most dangerous wild card team he's seen in some time. And Bob Costas just said that he thinks Tony Dungy is in love with the Packers.

B-N-D, You are alright for a Bears fan. Most of the ones I meet have no sense of humor. Even one of our family friends here in Phx turns into a sour-puss, smart-a%%, rub-it-in, jerk when the Pack/Bears play, or any other bad-things happen to the Pack.

I appreciate the comments. The Bears have impressed in the second half of the season,(except the Pats game). If we meet again, it will be a good one.
Yes I like a defensive game.

I notice all the national talking heads are all over our jock now. Big surprise.

I liked it better when they were ignoring us or bashing us.

I sure hope we beat the Eagles but it's going to be a close game.

Some things never change... including people like kworst being a punk bitch. Just go away.
Yes, we know kworst is a "realist" and we always censor honesty and realism.

kworst, show up once in a while and post when we are winning and I might allow your bull$hit emotional threads.
I'm not sure what was worse in this thread - the whining or the whining about the whining. Why not just get used to the fact that (almost) all are Packer fans and that people react differently when the team isn't playing well. Nothing wrong with pointing out when your team or some part of your team isn't playing well or up to potential. It seems as though some posters don't want to allow any venting when fans are frustrated. When the team plays better everyone should be happy, instead we get more insults. just a shame IMHO.
