Jones is just special. Pay the man.

The Packers have had some triplets. But Rodgers, Jones and Adams may be the best three they’ve had at one time in my lifetime.

They've never had this good of a #1 WR and #1 RB at the same time. Rodgers has had better receivers than Favre (Jennings, Nelson, and Adams were all better than anyone Favre had (Brooks, Freeman, Walker, early Jennings).  Ahman Green was better than Jones, but Jones is the second-best back they've had since I started watching games in the mid-70s. He's what Eddie Lee Ivery would have been had he stayed healthy.

I was about to say it's tough to beat Ahman Green.  He was a frickin' beast.

You’re forgetting Favre had Sterling Sharpe his first three seasons.

Sharpe and Adams....pick one. Green Bay had nothing else when Sharpe was the man. Both are so damned good.

Good point. I can't believe I forgot about Sterling. I tend to think of the Super Bowl years instead of the 3 years before them.

1. Hutson, 2. Lofton, 3. Sharpe, 4. Adams, 5. Nelson, 6. Jennings would be my rankings. I obviously never saw Hutson play, but he still has to be first. He ran up Babe Ruth like numbers relative to everyone else even in the years when WW2 didn't dilute the league.
