If the score was 24-0 when it went kaput, the timing was perfect.
Negatives:
-Run Game: They go against 7 man fronts and can't be productive. Grant, Starks and Kuhn combined for 24 carries for 75 yards. 3.1 YPC isn't going to cut it against a team like the Rams. 3rd and shorts might as well have been 3rd and long b/c those guys sucked today.
-Drops: Thought we were past this. Apparently not.
-Run defense: Giving up 125 yards on the ground on 25 carries is bad. Maybe Raji is playing too much. Hopefully getting Neal back will allow Raji to rest more.
-This offense relies on Rodgers too much. My worry is that he needs to be nearly perfect every time he steps on the field because he's getting zero help in the run game. If drops happen, all of a sudden the team gets shut out or entire half (ie: the second half today).

Positives
-Bend don't break defense: My hope is that Capers plays it straight until he needs to start getting pressure, then starts throwing crazy blitzes. Today he didn't need pressure, so maybe he played it straight.
-Big plays on offense: Rodgers to Jones and Nelson were huge.
-Big plays on defense: 4th down stops and that pick in the endzone were huge. Rams 0-3 in the red zone and 1-4 on fourth down.
Well we did go from the #5 seed to the #1 so thats a plus.

- too many dropped passes
- shields is channeling Darlene's int routine.

+ too many weapons to stop GB.
+ Defense locks it down when it needs to.

AJ Hawk said the bird he flipped was inside joke with a couple of teammates He apologized for his action. Said he got caught up in emotion.

Hawk on his bird: "Sometimes you forget that it's on TV. I definitely want to apologize to anyone who's kids were watching and got offended

TomSilverstein
Asked whether he thought he would get fined, Hawk said, "I hope not."

Hawk said he sometimes forgets there's cameras watching every single thing. Just got caught up in the moment. But there was no malice in it.

Negative: The Packers look like they sleepwalked through the game
Rodgers had a poor game.
Positive: a 310 yard 3 td 1 int is a bad game for Rodgers
The Packers won easily even with a low energy output. There must have been too many old friends on the Rams team that the Packers did not want to embarrass.
It was a good game foe Newhouse to start at LT.

Hey, mine is a clearly documented example of a FIRST WORLD PROBLEM! Cut me some slack cracker.

I thought he was horrid in the 2nd half. Throwing the ball in such a manner that it bounced out of the receivers hands for an incompletion. School boy stuff.
Negative= Shields decision making...what was he trying to do after that interception, get his head taken off?

Positive= Didn't show anything to the Vikings in the second half. The Pack will have a game and a half worth of plays at their disposal next week

Didn't anybody notice the wind getting stronger as the game progressed? No wonder the 2nd half was bad. MM knew the only way the Rams could get back into the game was turnovers. He chose to ground and pound, keep the clock running, and turn it over to Masthay to keep the Rams in check. Good move by a damn smart coach.

I'd rather win by 21 and be shutout in the 2nd half than plan on coming back from 14 down to win. Maybe that's just me.

Dropped balls.

Yeah, shell. It was like playing you're eleven year old sister and handing the ball to her to try again. Difference being they didn't let them score.

Suck, shut it.

QB Aaron Rodgers has continued streak, now at six games with a passer rating of 110-plus, the first to do so since AFL/NFL merger in 1970

I'm surprised he didn't do it sooner.

My game thoughts.

Walden > Zombo
Sitton surprisingly average this season
Newhouse...Packers can win with him at LT...ROTTT
Packer offense underperforms again

Best jersey I saw at the game today.....#35 Samkon Gado

No, the water is running down his back when he soaks his hair down after every series. I can see why his teammates make fun of that... it is kinda silly.
