That was very lame. Talk about "chocking" in the big game. I've liked his contributions to the broadcast all year but that was laughable. Wonder if that explanation is in the rule book?

- This thread, meaning not having it anymore. A great way to discuss the current perceived status of the team all year long. Even being at the top of the mountain, the current labor deal leaves us hanging. Let's hope these clowns get it figured out soon. I can't wait to find out which shiny FA's I may want.
+

Murphy, TT, and MM: they had their convictions about how to build a championship team, stuck to them in spite of the criticism, and won a championship.

AR12: what can we say that hasn't been said. They guy is magnificant.

-

None. We won

On a side note, I totally disagree with the result of MM's challenge. Swain caught that ball. Not only did he get 2 feet down, but he turned 180 degrees WITH POSSESSION OF THE BALL. The ball came loose on his way down. It was a fumble, Jennings recovered. Green Bay ball. 1st down.

Positives:

+ As someone else in this thread already said, this particular Packer Champion will go down as my all time favorite. It will be tough to ever duplicate this kind of scenario where there is SO MUCH adversity and yet they come through in the biggest way possible. There may be other Packer champions in the future, but it might never be quite as fun and rewarding as this 7 week period has been.

+ The Pack will welcome back close to 15 guys coming back from injury/suspension once football gets going again. There's no reason the Pack shouldn't continue to be one of the "haves" in the NFL.

Negatives:

- This season was so much fun, it is sad to see it over. The greatest spectator sport in the history of human kind will now take a break for awhile. I just hope they're all back ready to go in July.

Champions

Bush- good for him. Not a great DB, but a good person.

OL- Harrison, Kiesel, Hampton, and Woodley are a tough task. They didn't dominate, but they gave Rodgers enough time and when we did run they were positive yards.

A big Shut the hell up (and you know who you are) to all of our couch offensive coordinators. The I would have called something different in that situatuion **** is getting nauseating. Go back and look at our first TD to Nelson. What was it? Oh crap, it was 3rd and 1 and they threw a deep ball. What were they thinking? It worked. Get your ass into the I was wrong thread, eat some crow, and don't play this same tired routine next year.

Tramon- Wow has he arrived. Thanks Ted.

Bob Harlan- Thanks for fixing that mistake.
Here's my serious list:

+
Rodgers of course
OLine
Nelson
Playcalling - needed some more run call though
Starks had some key runs
S/Ts did alright...no glaring errors
Matthews
Woodson's leadership at halftime and in the third quarter when he barked at the guys to follow through and WIN IT FOR ME!
McCarthy-Now an Elite HC
Thompson-Now an Elite GM
Murphy-Now an Elite President

-
Collins celebrating and getting flagged
Dropped passes - Nelson: could have been MVP had he caught two more
Woodson and Driver couldnt finish
Swain needs to hold on
Jones another big drop
+ Rodgers
+ Jennings (and the 2nd quarter TD to Jennings was awesome)
+ entire defense
+ o-line (Woodley pushed Bulaga around in the very beginning, then all of a sudden, Steelers front 7 seemed pretty quiet to me)

- WR drops. Horrific. Absolutely horrific. They must have been keying on Jennings and he was fine, but - wow - had the Packers lost, those WR drops would have killed me. Jones, oh man, probably a TD. I believe 3 of the first 4 3rd quarter drives were killed thanks to WR drops.
Super Bowl Champs!!! Fourth Lombardi comes to Titletown. Almost nothing else matters.

Positives:
Exorcised the Favre.
Holy sh*t the future is bright. Between the draft and getting our injured players back, this team has the potential to be a dynasty. We couldn't even say that in '96.
Clifton says he won't retire. Awesome.
Starks our new RB for the future.
Mayock saying the draft is very deep at DE/OLB.

Negatives:
Injuries - hopefully nothing career threatening for C-Wood. Hopefully everyone is back next season, including Driver - although Driver should probably step down to our #3 or #4 at this point.
We have some solid FA's we have to wait on re-signing.
CBA not resolved.
+++s

Bush. I think his assignment was left wide open but he played his hunch and made a play...VERY much like Woodson would do. Bush redeemed himself from last year's game in Pittsburgh.

Overall play of both lines, Rodgers (freakishly accurate), and defensive playmaking.

---s

Tramon during punt returns. I think his head is into defense and PRing causes task neglect issues. I'd love an off-season pickup or draft acquisition to fill this "need."
After watching the game again last night I observed 12 things:

#1- Bishop and Hawk made some serious tackles , htting hard and stopping the runner right away. These guys truely made a huge difference in this years defense. It is nice to finally have some LB's that actually hit hard and make plays when needed.Tackling, rushing the passer and coverage.

#2- Collins had a hell of a game besides the Pick 6 he made some sweet decisive game impacting tackles. Except the one play were he got caught cheating inside on a run by Redman he pretty much had a perfect game.Good pass coverage!

#3- Overall tackling by the Defense. I believe that Mr. Woodson was a great leader leading by example in this area all year.Heal up that collarbone.

#4- Defense wins Championships and it was fitting that the defense made a stop to win the game not to mention 21 points off turnovers.

#5- Rodgers spread the ball around alot besides the Wr's Crabtree,Quarrles,Hall, Starks and Jackson had catches and in total 10 different receivers.

#6- Zombo played a damn good game for missing six games before the SB. Next year Zombo and Walden will be battling for that OLB position. If GB still has plans for Brad Jones maybe TT does not draft a OLB.

#7- The Oline played a very nice game. Clifton and Bulaga had huge games and really had no sacks against them. Colledge almost made it through the game without any glaring mistakes till the false start late in the game.Wells and Sitton were very good also.We could very well see this same line again next year except for maybe Colledge as he may get a big offer and leave. If he does go GB is still in good shape with Lang and McDonald waiting in the wings.I would think TT will draft a lineman fairly early in the draft and he will take the BPA there no matter what the position is.I wonder what GB really thinks about Newhouse?

#8- Masthay is the man and the punt return coverage is good. Why cant the KO coverage team do as well? Maybe next year we will have a real return man finally

#9- While defense wins championships MM had the confidence in Rodgers to to make tough plays without the boneheaded turnovers.

#10- GB has a very organized operation and nothing is left to chance. GB will likely loss a defensive coach this offseason but I think that Capers and Trog will stick around.

#11- It was huge to see Bush and Lee step up and play in the biggest game of the year when Woodson and Shields went down.Alot different than last years games against the Cards and Steelers.I hope that Underwood has grown up this year and will be able to step in next year if needed.

#12- It was cool to see Capers use a 4 man front during the game to combat the Steelers running game. To finally have a defensive coordinator that can adjust, think outside the box and be able to field a top defense with major injuries in the mix. The 4 man line covered two Packer injury issues one at OLB with Walden out and Zombo missing six games it took some of the pressure off that position. Then it gave Jenkins a rest saving him for passing downs and because Jenkins is a great run defender it compensated the run defense and helped the pass rush as well as messing with the Steelers minds.
