I still go back to some comments that McCarthy made a few weeks back on the local radio in reference to Perry.  He basically called him out - either toughness or motivation related (or both) and I have NEVER heard MM speak about any other player like that since he's been head coach.

That's got to tell you something.

Perry certainly hasn't been helped by the injuries and it's not like the guy isn't talented.  The play were he flattened Andrew Luck was flat out crazy.  He beat his guy off the edge and closed the gap and made a huge hit, albeit the refs bailed out the Colts with a personal foul.

I guess the way I view Perry at this point is similar to how I view Sherrod.   The team has basically moved on with other players and if either guy wants to step up and perform that can only help the team.   With Sherrod it sounds like he's been doing very well in camp.   Perry?  Not so much.
