Anyone surprised? I've stated numerous times 95% of the NFL is on HGH.

I don't care. It's their body. Nobody is holding a gun to their heads.

A majority use them for performance, and every single one of them uses it when recovering from major injuries (ACL tears and the like). Frankly, they'd have to be really dumb not to use HGH after shredding an ACL. Unless someone rats them out, they're never going to be caught by the testing.

Does anyone seriously doubt that a large percentage of these guys aren't using PED's?

If millions are on the line, of course they are and I don't fault them one bit.  We create the environment then get all shocked that players respond to it?   If you can't recover from week to week and perform at a high level, you don't get the big coin.  Best way to recover is with HGH or anabolic steroids.  It's not so much about gains, but recovery time.

@mortreport: Charles Sly says he was never paid a dime by Al Jazeera and that Peyton Manning or any of his representatives have not paid him anything.

@mortreport: Here is a statement from Dr. Dale Guyer of the Guyer Institute in Indianapolis.

FWIW Chris Mortensen is one of Peyton's closest allies in the media and is very tight with Clan Manning.

Fan reaction from this Packer fan IMO represents not only the vast majority of Packer fans but really the majority of NFL fans across the league:

I couldn't care less if athletes take supplements or pain killers to be able to play or play better. If they want to put stuff into their bodies that's their business. Plus when I go to a game and spend good money to be there I want to see my favorite players and stars of other teams. I hate when my team wins and the other team makes an excuse saying "oh we would have won if so and so played." Sure the league is trying to protect the players but it's really the players business if they put things in their bodies to keep playing or play better. Some call it cheating but I call it dedication and the will to win. That's what sports is all about. Just win baby.

Unless this begins affecting TV ratings and butts in seats (which it won't) the NFL won't give a schit. And if this is the fan's reaction..why should they?

Not that I watch or follow anything on Al Jazeera, for what it's worth I have seen a couple of tweets from respected journalists (Mike Freeman for example) who find Al Jazeera a reputable source.

If it's reputable, Adrian Peterson and Favre will be taken down soon too.

Since when is Al-Jizzeera a credible source? I mean outside the World Goat Screwing Championship?

You must watch them a lot to know they are not credible, any examples? I've never tuned in so I would appreciate your fact checking.

The times I've watched, I've found their regular news programs (the shows that would be a half-hour equivalent of NBC Nightly News or the like) to be bland, but in a good way: a lot less of the screaming panic of the month that we get from MSBNC or Fox News, along with a lot more coverage of the rest of the world outside of the US than other channels.  I've never found their feature programming particularly interesting. They're also no more biased (outside of reporting on the Middle East) than any of the US channels, the BBC, DW or the like.

Of course, most of the broadcasters I listen to are what used to be the former international broadcasters (as in the BBC or other national equivalents) that used to be on short-wave back in the day.  A lot of them have extremely biased positions on certain issues.
