He's off to a fine start this year down in Miami. I haven't seen them play at all, and we all realized how much we missed him once he was gone, but he seems to have them playing well. Since they're AFC, good for him.

Next week will be a good test: on the road in New Orleans.
His success was contingent on Tannehill making progress, which he has. If Tannehill had failed then Philbin would have been gone. It also helps that he has a really good OC down there! Sherman has always been a really good offensive mind, just couldn't handle all of the stuff on his plate.
It also helps that Sherman had Tannehill for a few years at A&M. I'm sure the concepts are more complex, but the relationship between the two (Sherman and Tannehill) has been there for a while.
