Those darn Giant fans will stop at nothing to distract the Packers...just kidding.
But, I seem recall there was another incident involving the son of a Packers asst coach...was it Philbin??? Seems like it was his son about 3 years ago. Am I right?

The only one I can think of is Ray Sherman's son several years ago. That ended tragically as I recall. Let's hope for a better outcome for Coach Philbin. 
Let's hope for the best... I know when I was about that age I'd go off galavanting all over the place without necessarily telling anyone. That said, for this to make news there must be something the family knows that has them worried. Good luck to the Philbin family.
He has been missing for only 2 days. Don't the police wait 3 days before investigating a missing adult unless there is cause to do so? That's a concern.

amen to that. my parents hardly ever knew where I was during those years. they enjoyed the stories I would tell afterward though... well, at least the ones I would tell them.
It's only barely over 24 hours. The fact that he was reported missing already does not sound good.
Definitely sounds to me like the Philbin family has reason to believe he's in some sort of peril. Hopefully it's not as bad as it sounds.

Holy schitt...I saw a story about this on the news last night. Dive teams were looking for a person that broke through the Fox River. There were no witnesses, but a worker at a building near the river heard a guy screaming for help. The dive team coordinator said it's extremely hard to locate someone that may have gone through when nobody actually saw it happen.
FWIW, the Fox River, and all waterways in this area, are very open, and nobody with any sense would think of walking on what little ice is present.

Just heard from a very reliable source here in Green Bay that it is Philbin's son. Very sad.
All but officially confirmed.
