From Chickenboy's link:

According to the criminal complaint, Michael Philbin, who was 17 at the time, hosted a party at the family's Sonoran Court home near Southwest High School on Aug. 21. The Packers flew to Denver that day to play the Broncos the next evening in an exhibition game.

One of the victims said that after she passed out from intoxication, Michael Philbin "performed an act of sexual intercourse against her will," in the family's living room.

The second victim, who also admitted being intoxicated to the point of passing out, alleged that after Michael Philbin helped her to the bed in the master bedroom, he undressed her and "performed an act of sexual intercourse on her without her consent."

What he did was wrong, but it sounds like a teenager having a party at his house when his parents were gone.

Holy schitt...I saw a story about this on the news last night. Dive teams were looking for a person that broke through the Fox River. There were no witnesses, but a worker at a building near the river heard a guy screaming for help. The dive team coordinator said it's extremely hard to locate someone that may have gone through when nobody actually saw it happen.

FWIW, the Fox River, and all waterways in this area, are very open, and nobody with any sense would think of walking on what little ice is present.

Philbin made a cellphone call to one of his friends at 2 a.m. but didn't say where he was, Nichols said. Philbin didn't sound as if he was under duress or suffering from any medical issues and the call ended amicably, Nichols said.

But he never returned to get his car on Sunday and never tried to contact anyone, prompting the call to police, Nichols said.

I forget/forgot about cellphones these days. Definitely not sounding good.
I don't want to go too far in Henry's direction but his son must have been quite the risk taker, careless guy. Anyone going on the Fox's ice in the dark of nite during this winter is asking for big time trouble.

At this time of year I'm usually driving a dodge ram out to an ice shack to fish on a lake. not even close to that happening yet.

kinda curious that he was alone...

There is no but. I feel for you Joe but your son was scum.

Scum?

Damn.

When I saw what he posted about scum... That made me sicker than I already was...
