How about Thornburg? Kid looks like the has a bright future.
Their slow start last year (5 wins in the month of May) killed them. In fact, Melvin has been on record saying they need to be more consistent and not just a second half team.
Clutch hitting again last night by Braun and Gomez and Segura and Ramirez continue to knock the cover off the ball.
Thornburg might be their primary set up guy. He throws strikes and is pitching very well

Thornburgs changeup is as good as anybody's, he keeps his control and gets ahead he is 1 tough ombre.
Gomez is fun to watch
So is Marco Estrada. He is really good. That's not an attempt at humor.
Need to minimize the damage.
Whew....come on bullpen. Nice start for Estrada against one of the best for the 3rd time this season.
BB starting to now stand for Brewer Boner.
This season is starting out better than a sharp stick in the eye.
Rickie Weeks is not fun to watch
Eff him
Eff him
Man.
Clutch strike-out by Smith to end 8th.
Walk Byrd and trouble would have been at hand.
Sweep the Phillies
First place Brewers
Now kick the crap out of Pittsburgh and then STL and life will be good

Great run they're on... Let's keep it going!
best record in baseball and 6-0 on the road
not gonna get my hopes up but enjoying the start
The key is starting pitching. If they can get decent starting pitching (consistently) there is no reason to think that this team can't compete. Does that mean they will win the World Series? Not necessarily but they can put themselves in position to be considered a playoff caliber team.
