We know who the stars are typically, but who's gonna step up this weekend against the Gmen?
My picks:
Offense: Jared Cook. Two TDs, over 100 yards
Defense: Jayrone Elliott, two sacks and a pass batted down.

Ankles Adams and Dam Randall come up big in this one.
I'm going to break the rules and go with Reggie White.
On Defense: Kentrell Brice causes two NYG turnovers; Herb Waters gets an INT
On Offense: Michael runs for 100 yards on NYG and Allison reels in two TDs from ARod
I am going with Mike Pennel. Fresh legs , glad to be back and new attitude.
might want to temper that one, Grinder. far as I know Pennel hasn't been activated yet.
Geronimo Allison
5 for 127 and 1 TD
Blake Martinez
5 tackles, 1 sack, 1 FF
Dom Capers.....

Thanks, I just assumed he would be back. I do though wish it was Raji coming back but that's another thread.
Jared Cook NYG have had some problems with TEs and Cook comes up big in his first playoff game.
Gunter Does a nice job on Beckham (again) and gets his first pick.
On offense: Geronimo
On defense: Gunter
On offense it will be Cook because this offense is WAY better with him in there. And I 2nd nod to Ripkowski.
Defense? I will be crossing my fingers someone/anyone can be a hero on Sunday. If I have to pick a name I am going with CM3 with a late sack and fumble recovery.
Because you said "Surprise Heroes" I restricted choices to unexpected players performing well.
On Defense I think that Peppers and Clark fit because no one is writing much about them as of late and they are due.
On Offense Perhaps Cobb and Michael also fall under the unexpected label.
The other members of the team have been rising to the occasion and have gotten mentioned post games.
Cook and Gunter will step up again but that wont surprise me much.
Geronimo and Datone Jones.
If Nick Perry has a good game, we will win this b*tch.
Peppers catches a TD pass. From Schum (a highly coveted QB coming out of 4th grade).
Mike Daniels. As someone pointed out above, the Giants start Marshall Newhouse as one of their tackles and the other tackle might be worse. CM3/Peppers/Neal have to be licking their chops. But if they force outside pressure and Eli has to do is step up in the pocket and throw to Beckham the Giants offense will still be fine. If Daniels (and Clark and Guion) collapse the pocket up the middle Eli is likely to go into mini-Favre mode.
O: Christine Michael
D: Kentrell Brice
Offense - Cobb had a huge game last time from the slot. With the emergence of Geronimo we'll likely continue to see more Nelson from the slot. All of this should open things up for Cook, and Monty coming out of the backfield. The way Rodgers is dialed in right now, I won't be surprised if any of the pass catchers (Nelson, Adams, Cobb, Montgomery, Cook, Allison) have big games. I'd like to see Michael with 15+ carries 'cause that means the Packers are controlling the game late.
Defense - ILBs need to contain Perkins. Get DL push from Clark, Guion, Daniels, and either Lowry or Pennel, that will allow the OLBs/Elephants to harass Manning. DBs, keep it all in front of you and beat the sh!t out of Odell at the LOS.
The only surprise at this point in the season would be if Thompson were to sign some street vet DB.

Schum drops a punt inside the 2-yard line, after which the defense forces a safety.

Our chief weapon is surprise...surprise and fear...fear and surprise.... Our two weapons are fear and surprise...and ruthless efficiency.... Our *three* weapons are fear, surprise, and ruthless efficiency...and an almost fanatical devotion to the Pope.... Our *four*...no... *Amongst* our weapons.... Amongst our weaponry...are such elements as fear, surprise.... I'll come in again.
And every sperm is sacred. Wait, that's for the Peterson thread.
I'm sure surprise actually is one of our biggest weapons. Not necessarily unscouted looks but trying to identify much of any tendencies. MM has shown a lot of new successful wrinkles in his offense over the last month. Gotta be tough to gameplan for the Packers offense right now.
Hyde will be the goat or the hero. No way Randall stays in the game be it benched for suck or benched for injuries or both.
Suprise heroes,
Offense: Aaron Rodgers..he will actually throw an interception.
Defense: Clay Matthews...he will actually catch the easy interception.
Offense: Paul Perkins
Defense: Olivier Vernon
{Ducking/Hiding}
omg I love that laughing scene, takes me back...anyways, my pick is 83 - yep the jj himself.
Richard Rodgers - Dickrod will be huge
Offense: Jaymo. His butthurt will carry the day!
Defense: Crap To You. The Brats he sells in his little stand will fuel the crowd into a frenzy creating the loudest Lambeau ever!
On D I'm going with Ha Ha. He is goingnto show a national audience why he was picked for the pro-bowl.
For O i'm going with Ty. MM has some new wrinkles for him.
It won't be JPP. He was ruled OUT for NFCWCG.
that Lowry kid seems to get his name called when he gets in the game

That's mine as well... local Rockford kid will have an impact.
Gonna go with Kerridge with short yardage 1st down on O
Burnett in CB coverage on D
Hyde punt return on ST
