Imagine if Braun's thumb felt good. Maybe he's learned how to play through it. If it means an occasional day off to rest it, I'm fine with that. He's leading the NL in runs scored, he's fifth in home runs, and sixth in SLG and RBI.
If Segura can get it going, Braun could get a lot of RBIs.

After the Pirates scored 5 runs in one inning I figured this game would probably be a loss. But damn, we just kept chipping away at their lead.Then Braun with the clutch 2 run hr and Krod seals the deal in the 9th. 8 road wins already, It took the Crew till the end of may last season to do that.
With as good as the division is this year it's games like last night that could decide whether a team makes the postseason or not. Last year the Brewers probably would have blown that game but good to see them scrap and come back against a pitcher (Grilli) that has owned them.
We just have to hope Braun can stay relatively healthy. He is such a difference maker

Cole should have got something. There isn't an altercation at all if he owns up to tossing Gomez a cupcake. If MLB wants to send a message, they really missed the boat here.
Maldy deserves what he got. Lots of comments on the interweb that it was a cheap shot, I guess I don't see that. It was face to face, and you don't empty the benches hoping for a tickle fight.

Gomez deserves what he got. I love watching him play, but he should have just pointed to third base and shut up. No point in one of the best players on the team being stupid. Maldy can throw punches, Gomez needs to stay out of that ****.
The fact that Cole got nothing is total BS. The rest I won't argue about. Today I was watching to best NBA slam dunk celebrations and all Gomez did to begin with was flip his bat and watch the ball. Every NFL game has sack dances and touchdown dances but got forbid you watch a fly ball that almost makes it out of the park. Now that 's showboating.
