Saints Saints Saints...don't think they play any better D than the Pack and could see the Lions giving them a game.

Steeler will be in for a fight with Big Ben all beat up, heck they barely had an offense today against Cleveland. As long as the Denver D can keep it close anything can happen. IIRC the Steelers have a starter on D that can't even make the trip to Denver due to a medical condition.?

R. Harrison just said he likes the Patriots despite their D for the AFC and has the Saints not the Packers because of our D
It was said in another thread by the GBP Rules CAP95 (casual!), but if PITT opens anywhere less than -10 I'm betting the retirement fund. Losing Mendenhall won't matter next week. I'd like to see Detoilet at least beat up on NO next week to soften them up a bit before they head to SF, but no way does NO lose that game. CIN could give Houston all they could handle too.
Team scare ranking (most have negative scare value):
1. NYG
2. NE
3. Balt
4. SF
5. NO
6. Det
7. Pitt
8. Atl
9. Cinn
10. Hou
11. Dall
12. DEN

Too bad Dallas looks like they are going to fold on the road.

If the Giants get to Lambeau they won't be disadvantaged by the cold and they will think they can win. All the rest, the Packers will have home field advantage (even Indy will be a home field for the Packers). And many will be psyched out before they ever step on the field (6 - 12).
I fear the Giants the most at home. They are equipped to grind out a game in frigid Lambeau. Eli to Cruz is potent combo along with their two rbs....and they have a defense. I was hoping for cowboys win tonight, but unless theres a unforeseen choke job by the G-men, Jerry Jones will have a quiet plane ride home.

Both home NFC teams win next weekend.
If the 2011 version of the Pack had to go on the road, I'd be a bit more nervous about their chances. But at home at Lambeau, I really like their chances with anybody. The slow field slows down opposing pass rushers and just seems to give whomever is playing QB for the Pack extra time to pick an open man from the plethora of weapons, and other teams just seem almost helpless trying to stop it.

The slow field does seem to work against the Packers' pass rush a bit, but they seem to always make just enough plays to get teams out of their comfort zone and come up with a W.
After hearing Schong blast his Lions defense today, I think if the saints jump to an early 10 point lead the onslaught will be on. That d will have zero confidence.

Bengals beat the Texans, Giants beat the birds, and the Steelers while have Tebow praying for the game to end.

Funny how people thought KC gave the blue print on how to beat the Packers. They basically did the same thing today with Denver. Steelers will play the same d that the chiefs played today.
@Houston -3 vs Cincy O/U 38.5
If Delhomme plays I don't touch this game. Delhomme could throw 3 TDs. To either team.
If Yates plays I'm putting 1 unit and taking the pts.

@New Orleans -10.5 vs Detroit O/U 58.5
My heart hopes Det can keep it close, my head thinks NO rolls them.
I'm putting 3 unit and laying the 10.5
I'm putting 5 units on the Over

@NY Giants -3 vs Atlanta O/U 49
I think people are overvaluing the Giants a bit coming out of the weakest NFC East in years. That being said, Atlanta rolling TB means nothing, and I don't like that team outdoors. Like NY a bit more.
I'm putting 1 unit and laying the 3

Pittsburgh -8 vs @Denver O/U 35
Remember in Animal House, when during the parade the girl in the skimpy outfit gets thrown into the window of a boy reading Playboy and he says "Thank you God!"? Thank you god for allowing me to bet on this game. I've been drooling at this matchup for weeks, as for some time either Baltimore or Pittsburgh were going to be the 5 seed and head to 4 seed. I don't think Denver scores more than 3 pts. I'm hard pressed to think Pittsburgh won't get at least 10 pts alone off of great field position on turnovers.
I'm putting 20 units and laying the 8.

I would also like to do a 3 team 6.5 pt teaser
NO -10.5 (which now becomes -4)
NO/Det 58.5 (which now becomes 52)
Pittsburgh -8 (which now becomes -1.5)
I'm putting 10 units on this.
I don't think the Steelers are the mortal lock that everyone is talking about.

Ben on 1 leg and no Mendy plus other O-Line injuries. They're in trouble. Jesus might intervene and win this one for Tebow setting up a cakewalk for the Pats to the AFC CG.

Too many people predicting an upset of the Texans. They win & advance vs. the Bengals but bow out to the Ravens.

Saints will beat Lions in a close one & if that happens the Packers play Giants/Falcons.

I know one thing, It should be a lot of fun watching.
