LAC/JAX probably the only entertaining game of the bunch.  There are four teams that have a legitimate shot at the SB.  The rest is just chum.

Although it would be highly entertaining to watch NYG punch MIN in the nads.

Here's a funny story on our loss with a long list of insults about Arod

https://www.sfgate.com/49ers/a...s-lions-17703931.php

Here are some things our columnist Drew Magary has written about Rodgers over the years:

-"joyless asshole"

-"walking Substack"

-"demonstrably awful person"

-"too chickens—t to fix himself"

-"There is no grudge he’s not willing to take to extremes and no bit of personal scrutiny he won’t spit upon."

-"selfish prick"

-"Tony Romo without the personality"

-"couldn’t win a big game even if Joe Rogan was hosting the trophy presentation"

-"the 1990s Atlanta Braves of football"

-"lives to waste time, tending to his grudges like bonsai trees"

-"wasn’t a good Jeopardy! host either"

-"an eternally small and petty man who, in terms of good natured-ness, makes Michael Jordan look like a f--king Labrador"

-"a moody and vindictive prick who nurtures grudges like they’re his own children"

If Bills and Chiefs are in Championship NFL has them playing in Atlanta. NFLFU couldn't find an outdoor stadium?

They were trying to find the most neutral place. Falcon fans are notoriously docile. Only other place I could even think is neutral would be Tennessee.

Odd thing is if the rain is strong in San Fran this weekend I wonder if the Seahawks can steal one.

Only way Seahawks steal one is SF being -3 or -4 in turnovers

Unpopular opinion alert:

Should be in KC. If Buffalo didn't want to play in KC they should have finished their game. Skip Bayless is an asshole in general but so what that he tweeted about the obvious problem with just calling off that game and going home?

Side note, I might actually watch the playoff games this year. Usually, I'm too down after the Packers shit their way out of the contention but this crap team held no sway over my heart.

Looking forward to the Vikings losing. I don't know if the Giants will be the ones, I think they're complete crap as well, but surely it'll happen by the divisional round.

Should have been in Cincy like half way between cities

I would have been great with that idea.  I could make the short drive and see two real playoff teams.  But I guess the NFL wants the sterile indoor game.

Yup. Nothing like forcing the teams fans to travel quite a distance to see their team in a Championship game!

The really ironic thing is that Hamlin apparently expected the game to have gone on without him (assuming the story about him asking who won the game is accurate).

To me, the worst thing about playoffs when the Packers aren't in them, is rooting for teams I otherwise despise.
DallAss/Tampa. Ugh.
Seattle/SF are even worse.
Giants are a bit easier vs the Vikes, but still... NYG.

It can be offset a little if there is a Cinderella team (Jags this year) to root for.

I don’t trust Daniel Jones but the Giants can run the ball and the NYG defense line should give MN and Kark fits.

Assuming JJ doesn’t have a 200 yard game and Jones doesn’t play like pre-2022 Jones I like the Giants chances.

I wouldn’t want any part of Jax next week. Trevor Lawrence can make any throw. They can run the ball and play defense. But Doug Pederson is the wild card. He’s a lot of whatever in the regular season. But you get him in the playoffs and he game plans and adjusts like nothing I’ve ever seen. He dragged Nick Foles to a ring. It’s like the guy has 50 playoff plays he sits on all year until he needs one of them in January. He’s the anti-McCarthy MLF coach.

It’s pretty amazing you look at the Jax roster and it’s not like they have a bunch of playmakers other than Etienne. Their receivers are pretty ordinary.  OL is good but not great.   But they have that mojo and most of that comes from their HC Doug Pederson.  It stings but I think the only other time I can recall a QB playing that poorly for 2/3 of the game and winning was Russ Wilson against us in that 2014 playoff debacle.
