I hope the doctor told him that and is is not just his personal diagnosis.

He was an student-athlete at Da U, where his most advanced science class was A Survey of Dinosaurs. I doubt he picked up the medical vernacular during McCarthy's Sustained Silent Reading period.

+beating the heat in Miasmi.  those are really tough conditions to beat a good D in for a team that has been practicing in 50F weather the last month or longer.  even better that they had to come from behind.  huge win.

+Adams finally emerging.

-OL was hard to watch until the last drive.

-the big run gashes vs our run D.  some of that was the Caper being out-called and some of that was horrible missed tackles.

-our WR corps shows up in spurts but as good as it supposedly is, they disappear for stretches at a time, even when AR has good protection.

I said it was stupid at the time.

So did I. The Packer D was gassed after giving up 80, 80 and 78 yard TD drives in the second half. And, they were down both starting corner backs. I didn't think we'd get the ball back unless somebody got a tipped interception or something. Thankfully, we were both wrong.

+ I also forgot Guion. He's getting better quickly.

I don't think Clay is anywhere near 100%. His hands are fine, but he seems to be having difficulty changing direction. He can get upfield, but circling back to the quarterback is looking really hard for him.

I really don't have a beef with MM and his play calling.  My concern is in seeing the weak spots in his staff and getting more out of consistently weak areas.

Defense is improving and it comes from losing guys to injury (although losing Shields and Tramon is a serious concern).  Hungry guys like Pennel and even Robinson are making an impact but probably wouldn't see the field if injuries didn't put them on the field.  That whole evaluation/development of talent thing.

Tough, gutty win with a short-handed defense making a stop when needed.

The non-holding calls vs. Nick Perry and CMiii on the same play when Tannehill was allowed to complete a 3rd & long on one of those TD drives was an officiating embarrassment.  Both of these guys were mugged in plain sight of the officials.  Hell, Nick Perry is a 260-pound man that was going in one direction and was pulled and turned around in the opposite direction!

And, don't forget, it was Brad Jones who landed on Tramon's ankle and kocked him out of the game.  Heck, at this point,  I would rather play Sean Richardson at LB.  At least he can tackle and run.

Not calling any screens when the OL was getting manhandled is an obvious oversight.

I honestly don't know if they had enough time to let a screen develop.

I agree. We would have lost more yards than we could have gained. However, Harris might have made a screen work.

+ We won and AR was beyond great! We won despite not having 4 starters.

_ The loss of 4 starters.

I sure hope Latt, D. Jones, Shield and others can make it back soon.

EDIT: per MJS "Turning point: The defense didn’t play well in the second half, but got the one stop it needed to β€” with just over 2 minutes to go β€” to give Rodgers the ball back. Poor clock management by Miami is also to blame but Clay Matthews and Brad Jones got some pressure on Tannehill at a key moment."

Not as though the Packer doctors' initial diagnoses are any good anyhow.  The news on Mondays is almost always worse than the news on Sunday.

Huge positive today:

+ Ha Ha Clinton-Dix. 7 tackles, all of them solo. 1 tackle for loss and a pass deflection. He was flying around better than any Packers safety i've seen in a long time. I like Micah Hyde, but Ha Ha needs to be the starter at FS. With possible injuries (-) to Williams and Shields it would make sense to move Hyde to CB and let Ha Ha start at FS.
