- Agree on Tramon. He simply falls on that ball and he has it. He tried to pick it up and we lose out on a golden opportunity.

- I would have liked to see AR/MM use Lacy and Starks more out of the backfield, as he had success with Cobb catching it out of the backfield. Just anything to get some confidence and get on a roll. And, more Lacy runs.

- Our D didn't play horrible; holding them to field goals was an improvement but it was Orton. This was a game where we needed some points and/or a game-changing play by our D. Tramon had that chance...

- It's hard to tell if AR was off on those sideline throws or his receivers misread the coverage. It looked like AR was ticked off on at least one of those routes (besides Quarless' drop, which set the tone for the day), so it's hard to know who to blame.

- Our STs give me zero, zero confidence. Slocum stinks.

This one was so bad it was almost a laugher... I'll be able to laugh about it if the Vikings win and Seattle loses.

Perfect storm today but the world isn't coming to an end. It's an AFC loss. We still have everything in front of us. Need to finish 12-4 & win this division.

Nice assassin. Can't really disagree.

Could've made it easy on ourselves by winning today but that's not really our style is it?

Beat Tampa. Beat the Lions who haven't won in Lambeau since 1991. Finish 12-4. 9-3 in the conference. It's all in front of us. Should have #2 seed minimum if we finish 12-4

I really don't get this notion that the D wasn't up to the task when Rodgers was having a bad game. We were one missed ST tackle and an obscure NFL rule away from the game being a 13-12 Packers win. They dominated a terrible Bills offense. Sure they ripped off a couple big plays that gained some yardage, but when it came down to crunch time they kept the Bills out of the endzone...whether you blame Orton and co.'s incompetence or credit the D, they only allowed 12 points and forced a turnover. That's good enough to win with every Sunday. You don't prove yourself to be a championship D against an offense as pitiful as Buffalo's, but they did their jobs. From what I saw the defense, the RBs, and the OLine stepped up and took charge, but it wasn't them that failed.

If you want to blame people for not stepping up when Rodgers is having a rough time, blame the WRs, TEs, and the Punter. The receivers (WRs and TEs) looked lost, they weren't on the same page with Rodgers and they weren't doing anything to help him. They weren't creating any separation and when they did manage to get open they dropped the ball. It was unbelievable. We haven't seen them do that since 2010. I'm willing to chalk it up to just a bad game because they've been so good this year, but man it was the same complaints I had with them against New Orleans and Detroit...get open, create separation, catch the ball! The ST coverage was pretty solid all day, but Masthay apparently had his head up his butt because he completely screwed them...a high hanging punt that was brutally short and the coverage just ran by the returner. Finally he got his crap together and ended strong, but the damage was already done.

Ultimately I'm not that torn up about this loss. Rodgers has a really poor game like this very rarely and it's even more rare to see the difference in the game be a punt return TD and an obscure NFL rule resulting in a Safety.

+ We got that one over. Perhaps a good learning experience.

+ My wife is a Bills fan and she is happy.

+ I thought the Defense played ok.

-The offense (except for the O-line)

-"Special" Teams

- BB getting a concussion

I told my wife at the beginning of the game that the wind and high humidity would mess up the pass game for both teams and I think it did.

Yes. From everything I can tell.

Seattle plays

AZ & St, Louis Rams (Niners game still in progress)

AZ Plays

Seattle & SF Niners

Cowboys & Eagles play each other tonight. One of them will have a 5th conference loss after tonight.

If Eagles & Seattle win their divisions at 12-4, We should be #2 seed.

I say this because AZ is now on their 3rd QB. If AZ & Dallas wins Division we should still be #2 due to better conf. record

The Sams:

Barrington not mensa material. 2 unsportsmanlike penalties(1offset), and offsides in the last few minutes of the game

Does every o-coordinator target Shields, dude wearin' to much bling since you got paid?

Anybody who wants to whine about the defense today needs to STFU.  This was the worst game AR has ever played in his professional life.  It made me wonder if he and Jordy were hung over.

The ST's have had place kicks blocked three weeks in a row now, and then the cherry on top of that was the PR for the only TD BUF scored all day.

That's right - no offensive TDs for the Bills and the defense got AR the ball back with 2 minutes to go.

This was one of those bed-crappings where two of the three aspects of the team were sleepwalking.

Ultimately I think we see:

1. Seattle (12-4)

2. Green Bay (12-4)

3. Philly (12-4)

4. Carolina (7-8-1)

5. Arizona (11-5)

6. Detroit (10-6)

This isn't ideal to me because I don't want to go to Seattle, but it would provide the best path there. I don't want to see Detroit a 3rd time and I feel confident we could take care of business against a Ryan Lindley led Arizona team or a Philly team we already stomped, in the cold.

EDIT: Ammo is right about Carolina.

I wouldn't be crowning Seattle right now.  Could very well see the Arizona game next week end up 6-3 for the winner.

Seattle's offense is lousy, "Beastmode" or not.  They get a gift TD from the refs today, otherwise they put up 13 points today.  In their last 5 games (4 wins including today) they have scored over 20 points once.

The only reasonable thing a Packer fan can conclude after a game like this is Rodgers clearly is considering a head coaching position at Oregon State University.

Never mind that Buffalo would have played the entire 2d half differently if they hadn't had that punt return TD.  The "obscure NFL rule" isn't very obscure, having resulted from an infamous play.  It's about as obscure as the tuck rule.  It's also the players' and coaches' jobs to know the rules (Jim Harbaugh constantly running out on the field to bitch, I'm talking to you too).

The loss was definitely not on the D, who only yielded four FGs.

Really? How often do you see that rule being used? Better yet, how many times in your life have you ever actually seen it happen in a game besides today. We see the Tuck Rule with some level of frequency.

Buffalo would have played the entire 2nd half different? WTF does that even mean?

They probably wouldn't have punted away just before the safety, for example.

And just because you don't know the Holy Roller doesn't mean it's obscure.  Fumbles in the last two minutes happen often enough; they just don't normally result in safeties the way this one did.

Oh they wouldn't have punted, how stupid of me. That's a vastly different strategy.

So you don't know how many times you've actually seen a play blown dead because of a fumble under two minutes where the non-fumbler picked it up?

The loss wasn't "on the D". But there were things they could have done better. Like not having 2-3 tacklers dragged for extra yardage on running plays. Not missing tackles. Giving a struggling offense a short field by having your corner fall on a fumble instead of doing what Tramon tried to do. Not allowing the Bills to take the 2nd half kick-off and just run it down your throats with only a pass thrown behind Woods on 3rd keeping it from being worse. Like getting off the field 4 downs and several yards earlier on Buffalo's final drive because the Bills converted a 3rd down when the back got yards after contact. The difference between 1st and 10 around the Packers 10 with 1:58 left prior to the final disaster and having the ball outside the 20 with 3+ left. It forced McCarthy to start using up timeouts. Like erasing the field position from your forced turnover because some idiot committed a personal foul penalty. Sometimes the defense has to forgive an off offensive day if you're hunting a title. Like Arizona did Thursday night. The Packers defense struggles to make impactful plays in any game that isn't a Lambeau rout.

Lord knows the shoe's been on the other foot more than a couple of times.

His article today said TT needs to start drafting QBs each year. Clearly that threw Rodgers off also.

Every time that there is a fumble under the two minute mark that is recovered by an offensive player other than than the one who fumbled it.  It's automatic.

Positive is we played our suck game before playoffs.  Mike should find plenty of switch material to whip team into shape.

Hard to believe this game wasn't fixed.  Arod erratic. Nelson dropping TD.  Non-special teams are capable of filling their pants on any given play.  But when the studs collectively compete to out suck.....
