Shields looked good. I'll take that until House get's healthy.
Neal.
Manning looked good at LB tonight. Not sure if it will be enough.
TT, MM, and AR were right about Harrell. It was like watching Flynn.
No significant injuries.
Boykin.
"I'm healthy. I'm 100%". Tramon when asked the difference between LY and TY.

The pained look on TT's face all night. It really looked like he is agonizing over the next round of roster moves. Then again it's his fault. Shouldn't bring in so much talent.
+ Overall, a good note to end preseason on for the second team guys who had some rough moments before today.

+ Happy to see preseason done with. I want to see Aaron Rodgers, Clay Matthews, and Charles Woodon for 60 minutes, not just a series or 2.

+ Good to see Finley back and making a nice catch for Harrell.

- The Raji scare on snap #1 for the defense.

- The Benson fumble was a bit unsettling as well.
Paw: Neal looked like a beast! Unblockable at times. Harrell looked great. Thought Green ran exceptionally well in traffic for a guy less than a year removed from a serious knee injury.

Not paw: Benson looked very average. Gurley was going half speed, at best, during a few plays not on his side of the field. Pretty sure he knows he will be on on a 53 man roster Saturday but still.

He may be much of what we dealt with in Ahman Green. Great back and a great addition to GB's offense but you had to deal with the fumbles.
This team could deal with a guy who fumbled like Ahman Green so long as he also brings the same level of production to the table. What made Ahman's fumbles so much worse was the fact that Brett was also slinging INTs all over the field. Not as much of a problem if Rodgers keeps being stingy with the turnovers.

Overall, it was a fun game and gave these young guys a good taste of what that feeling is like. I hope that's a good way to 'begin' the real season.
Harrell finally responding to his ARod injections. And let me be among the first to offer my humble apology to Harrell, apparently I was quite rong.
He wasn't perfect by any means, and the receivers really helped him out a few times, but who didn't have a huge sigh of relief watching him tonight?
Players actually playing like they are/were supposed to. Neal, Walden, Moses; hell, even Shields was making tackles tonight! Plenty of others, too.
Since I'mm gonna rip 'em below, scoring defense was awesome.

Run blocking.
OL depth is still sketchy, at best. They began to break down completely after 5 minutes or so into the 3rd quarter.
Starting defense looks exactly like last years' unit. Poor against the rush, and middle of field wide open in the 12-18 yard range passing. Can't get off the field on 3rd down.
ST's were pretty bad tonight. Continual personel problems, the punt block was putrid (although it turned out well, but doesn't excuse the play), Masthay didn't punt well, and coverage was poor-to-mediocre.

He was pretty damned close. If Gurley catches that bomb he misses only one pass and that was on a smart throw away. The receivers help Arod a lot as well. It is their jobs.
Positives: I had a positively great time with my 7 y/o boy at his first "game". We've got some great years ahead of us. Like his Mom, he freaked out a little bit at how loud Dad gets at Lambeau and punched me in the arm every time I hollered something. Smiler

I finally see what they see in Borel. Not sure we need two Cobbs but I see Borel's ability after the catch now.

Gurley - he looks like a TE lining up at WR. guy is big. if he woulda caught that tough down the sideline ball from Harrell he woulda really shined last nite. and he keeps getting close to blocking a punt. tough decisions loom.

Dezman Moses will make the team but he's got a bit to learn at OLB run defense. He did improve as the game went on which was encouraging.

Negatives: there's some but it's so nice to have TT. even during Wolf years I'd sometimes watch guys play and wonder "what were they thinking". other than Elmore last year most guys on TT's team look like they belong or could belong.
just dawned on me, did So'oto play last nite? Don't recall seeing him... Confused

Nothing cooler than being at Lambeau with your kids - congrats T-dog

Wow you also were at that infamous chilly NFCC Game that bert forgot his mittens and his hands were cold? When Bush came out of the closet when he demonstrated that he could not fall on a ball without screwing it up.

My Son is still pissed at me and tells me because his hands and feet were frostbit that he will never achieve greatness on the golf course
