Positives

- Crosby making his FG's. Hope the yips are behind him for good
- DuJuan Harris. Stop using him on DELAYED RUNS. Let him get a head of steam and let him use his burst
- Jeremy Ross. Makes you wonder how this guy wasn't returning kicks all year. Cobb is a good returner, but Ross is bigger and tougher to bring down and the guy has had back to back weeks with some really big returns. Looks like he's about to bust one every time. Loved what he has been doing.
- Jennings. If it is his last year, it will suck. Dude showed off his YAC skills today
- Offense in the 2nd half. They started really slow but that 2nd half they were unstoppable

negatives

- Entire D in general and the reason they couldn't pull it out. Hard to win giving up 37 points. Stupid penalties by them, piss poor tackling and for the first time in weeks we saw some incredibly soft coverage. Very disappointing to see this sort of performance right as the playoffs are around the corner. They couldn't stop anythin the Vikes were doing
- Tramon ducking out from tackling AP was embarrassing. Get that sh*t out of here
- Losing to a divisional rival when they had a shot to eliminate their postseason hopes.

It's over and done and I hope the D got that crap out of their system. Do or die time from here on out. Don't bring that soft sh*t to the field again the rest of the year, D.
+ Happy to see the Giants not make the playoffs. I'd have rather had the Bears make it than the Giants, but both are done.

+ After a rough start, the offense should be proud of how they played.

+ Crosby and Ross on special teams

- everyone in the back 7 of the defense except Matthews. Pathetic beyond belief. At least there's hope for better at LB next year if Bishop and Perry can come back strong. At Safety though, there may not be an answer without a high draft pick spent. Burnett, Jennings, and McMillan all look like they are in over their heads vs. smashmouth teams like the Vikes, 49ers, and Giants. Maybe Woodson can help, but with a weak collarbone, I'm not convinced he can play the run any better than those 3.
Packers play Saturday night.

I think we need to go easier on Barclay. Tauscher talks endlessly about how hard it is for OTs to play road dome games, and the Humpty-Dumpty dome is the worst because of their piped in fake noise.

Packers' back 7 on D is simply fundamentally poor. Where the hell were the LBs today? I wish the coaches would lock these guys in a room and have them watch 18 hrs of the 49er defense play tackle football.

So they haven't wanted to tackle AP 2x this season. Who's to think they will want to tackle him Saturday?

To me, Ponder was the x-factor today. He didn't turn it over and made some big 3rd down conversions.

Play of the game: Tramon's boneheaded head check which resulted in a TD instead of FG.

Defense poor play overshadowed Crosby's solid return to normalcy.
With a very short week, it's going to be very interesting to see what the Queens secondary looks like in 6 days.

Initial reports/blog chatter is that Winfield will not be able to play and AJ Jefferson and Scherels got LIT up by . IIRC they also lost another starter in the DB field who didn't return either.

With Cobb back, Rodgers should be salivating.

Not worried about AP. He will get his big game. 200 yards or so.Its Ponder thats the factor. I just don't see Ponder having the game he had today again at Lambeau. We are going to get to him and the turnovers will happen that didn't today.
You're out of your mind if you think Peterson is going to get near 200 again. Ponder passing for 500 yards is more likely (which is to say, it's extremely unlikely).

* The DBs and LBs cannot let AP get to the edge. When he bounces it outside, our guys cannot tackle him for crap. Keep him inside and let the big guys up front jam it up until help arrives. Pickett and Raji did a good job today standing their guys up; it was the edge guys that let him get outside and then AP is a beast to bring down.
* Matthews also shouldn't let himself get screened that badly.
* Tramon has to play like that fullback is actually a receiver and not ignore him like that for a big gain.
* Geez, we sucked on D.

+
* Our O put up 34 and that should win most games.

Are you watching Dal/Wash tonight? Or, have you watched Atl recently? The Falcons played their starters today and lost to TB at home.
Do you get a good mental picture when you imagine RGIII at Lambeau? I don't. Sure, the Cowboys and Falcons are also teams the Packers would probably beat. But San Francisco, Seattle or the Redskins? The Packers are underdogs.

Everybody but the Green Bay Packers gets amped up over the idea of playing at Lambeau Field. It's been that way for a very long time.

PS: They've actually won 2 of their last 5 (wins over Seattle both times). Starting with the loss to Atlanta, they're 2-4 at Lambeau in the playoffs.

You may write off these potential match-ups as losses...bring it on. I'm sure they're all anxious to face Rodgers, Jennings, Jones, Cobb, Finley, Nelson, Matthews, Raji, etc, etc.

Another note of your three teams...QBs with ZERO playoff wins or experience. We shall see. i'll take my chances with a Super Bowl and league MVP running the show.

The RGIII before the knee injury isn't playing right now. Barely beating a mediocre Cowboys team at home tonight. And would welcome the chance to take apart the Seahawks in an NFC championship game.

In nobody's betting book are the Packers underdogs to either team at Lambeau.
