Defense. As MLF said in a presser this week, it is not so much the scheme but rather guys winning their one-on-one match ups and just doing their job and not trying to do more. I was skeptical it could happen, but so far have been proven wrong. Guys like Dean Lowry are now bull rushing guards and winning! If we can do this vs. TB's o-line I will proclaim Barry a miracle worker!

Offense. We don't need OBJ for this offense to regain last season's form....look no further than the o-line for reasons why it isn't "clicking". Getting Bak back and putting Newman on the bench should be big for us. Degaura does not appear to be "the sharpest tool in the shed". It was him that cost us the delay of game because he didn't know the play vs. Cards. It looked like AR was telling him to get up field when AR broke containment and was running to his side.

Haven't watched the 2nd half yet so I guess things got better after the break.

People howl and howl for Dillon to get the ball in short yardage situations but why does it always seem that when that happens, there are at least 2 guys that meet him on his side of the LOS?  That's not Dillon, that's our blocking scheme/interior OL.  Maybe they did better in the second half?

This D is getting a bit nuts but they'll have as tough a situation as they've had all year next weekend if Gary and Mercilus are both out.  Compared to previous years with this group, it feels like they're playing downhill more than ever before.  Physical and aggressive.

+++ Dillon was great. Stokes, back from injury, played solid and broke up a few passes. Injuries to both Jones and Gary don't appear to be as bad as they initially looked. Kevin King had a solid game on Defense. We are without Jaire, yet, and our secondary looks top notch. Amos had an INT and could have had two more! We win, again! Nice to see MVS back in the mix!

--- Rodgers was carried by our Defense. Rodgers threw into tight coverage, a lot, it seemed. Other receivers should be open if Adams and Lazard are doubled. STs, especially our FG unit, needs work. Gotta be Bojorquez's holding for Crosby. How was Mercilus's injury?

Love that scene in the movie, but Clark did not have the humbling experience of having to be dressed, bathed and fed by others for about six weeks,  lol.

I fell from 2nd story while on a ladder too.   Slid out on me and I rode it down face first.  Was able to brace myself and avoid hitting my head.

When I landed I looked around and was pumped up to be uninjured, so I thought.   When I tried to get up my right leg wasn't working.   Looked down and saw my right foot pointing backwards.   My ankle was caught in the ladder rungs and got smashed.

Broken tib and fib.    First surgery was an external fixator.   Got to wear that for a couple of weeks and then 2nd surgery was internal fixation with a plate running up each bone and countless screws to zip it in place.    I didn't walk for six fucking months.   Couple years later I can run in a straight line but my softball and basketball days are done.

I feel your pain RochNyFan.

Anybody at the game? Any feedback on how our immunized boy was greeted?

100% positive. Or at least if anyone was booing they were not heard. He got a huge ovation to come out to warm up, again before the game and finally after. Gotta say he did look a little touched by the reception after the game as he was walking back with Preston. Could have all been for show, tho.

What was really cool was Rashan Gary walking back after the game. He stopped about 15' short of the tunnel and just stood there staring at the crowd for a good 15-20 seconds before he continued his way in. Not sure if he was expecting bad news today and wanted to take in that view one last time?

Positives - Great crowd vibe. A little slow to get warmed up but once they did it was loud all night. They still need to learn to STFU when the offense is on the field. Why is that so hard to figure out?

The defense is so fast. Even on successful completions more often than not the receiver isn't getting much YAC.

The Seattle fan behind me that was screaming his damn head off got real quiet late in the game. I'll give him credit though, he didn't leave until the game was over.

Dillon, Gary, Amos, Preston, Stokes, King, Savage, Campbell all played their asses off.

The 2nd half and particularly the 4th quarter snow was awesome. More as a visual since it didn't accumulate but snow always makes for a scenic time at Lambeau.

Negatives - Another missed FG. Can only hope this unit has things working by December. Gonna need them.

Injuries. Sounds like we dodged some bullets but c'mon, enough already.

Jimmy John's came up with Bleu Cheese Cheeseheads. Not sure if they showed them on the TV broadcast but those things are fukkin ugly.

Oh man, same thing happened to me.  I finished hanging the lights on the front of the house, so the ladder was anchored by the soft ground.  I moved to the side, on the driveway, and when I got to the top, I felt something shift, and the next thing I knew I was riding the ladder as it flew down the side of the house and hit the driveway.  Somehow I must have flipped 180 degrees and landed on my butt, sitting upright.  I also thought I had not been hurt, until I put my hands to the ground and tried to get up, and my arms felt like a loose bag of rocks.  Top of the larger forearm bone on my right arms snapped off, so I have plates and screws holding it in place now.  A few days later, when I got back from the hospital, I saw the ladder and the rung where my elbows rested had two downward facing "U's" in in where my elbows actually dented it.  I used to be a pitcher and played amateur baseball into my 20's, now I struggle to throw a ball more than 20 or 30 feet.  Sucks, but it could have been worse.  Same for you, bud. We learn to adapt.

Ladder terror. My daughter works for me as an appraiser. She was taking a picture of an attic. She fell off a 6 foot ladder on a garage floor, broke two bones in her back. That was two years ago. She is just now getting back to normal. Of a bad situation she ended up best case scenarion-she did not die, was not paralyzed, and did not require back surgery. Just time. Of course she will never get back on a ladder. Which is fine....

Ladder terror with humor. My brother was working on a high gutter when the ladder went out from under him. He landed FLAT on his back. He's laying there with blood coming out of his ears, nose, mouth when our younger brother walks over to him, looks down, and says, "You alright?" "No," my injured brother gasps. "Call... an... ambulance." Turns out he had a collapsed lung, broken ribs, broken bones in his back but no paralysis, and other internal bruises/injuries.

There's a reason we sarcastically call my younger brother "Flash."

I hope at least you got some happy endings when you got bathed.

If you saw the home health aides that came to take care of me while my wife was at work, you would understand why that never happened. First lady was about 75 years old, I think. Just imagine not being able to wipe your own butt...not exactly a mood setter.

I had a ladder slip under me twice cleaning gutters.  Fortunately I was fine, just a little embarrased because the neighbors saw me.  They rushed over to see if I was OK.  But yeah, Christmas lights for me consist of changing my outside garage lights to green and red.

I bought 100' of air hose along with a blowgun, compression fittings 20' of 3/8 automotive brake line steel tubing and a power washer nozzle. I bent a short piece of line like a question mark. I can stand on the ground and use 100 psi of air to blast most of my gutters. The ones I can't reach I use an 8'step ladder which is better than an extension ladder and reach the upper ones.

I have one of those extendable pressure washer wands too but when that thing is extended it's a bear to handle at 15,000 psi!
