I'm starting to think Aaron Rodgers will have to be the surprise hero.

Losing Jordy sucked, but it was okay because of Adams.  Losing Adams would really, REALLY suck, but we could still possibly be effective with Geronimo on the outside.

But now it looks like we could lose ALL 3 WIDEOUTS, REALLY?? Jebus insurmountable Cripes on a Stick!  If AR can pull this off with Janis and Davis as the only available outside guys, that would be both amazing, heroic and Herculean.

I'm changing my answer to the one and only Aaron H. Rodgers, and yes it counts if his top 3 wideouts are out, which I'm thinking they are going to be. Even if Adams and/or Geronimo play they are going to be hobbled.

ST--  Janis.  Joplin proves to be a "Ball and Chain" to the Falcons.

and M. Crosby croons his way to a perfect day.

OFF--  Bahktiari (sp?) protects the blind side, despite his injury.  Trev Davis makes a HUGE reception.  CornOnThe Cobb and Cookie have big days.  Rip rumbles.

DEF-- Martinez!  Daniels! Peppers!

------------------

(once again I make this plea -- please, God, do NOT let Barclay play!!!!

does anyone know if Tretter is well enough to be an option as an OL backup?)

Ripkowski will be the key to our run game in both blocking for Montgomery and running the ball himself and protecting ARod on pass plays.  Allison leads in receiving yards. Cook moves the chains on our third downs when we need it. ARod runs for a score on a bootleg. The big surprise is Davis getting a TD on a punt return. on Defense, Hyde and Ha Ha get INTs and Peppers gets two sacks.

I think the whole defense is going to rise to the occasion and surprise the country, particularly in the red zone. Historically this team has a way of doing that: whenever one side of the ball looks to be hurting or struggling, the other side elevates their play. With the injury concerns on offense getting the most attention, I'm looking look at the D to be the hero Sunday.

A lot of those guys are due. People picking Ha Ha, I think it is especially true for him. And Peppers, I mean how could he be more motivated? He has got to be viewing this as his last chance. Then there's the Golden Boy, who loves a big stage, you got to believe he's going to pin his ears back; and Perry, who has been getting healthier and more used to the club every week; and Joe Thomas, who has had a solid year, and the entire D-Line, which is relatively healthy : Datone, Daniels, Letroy, Kenny Clark. This D has talent.

I think they have enough to make up for injuries in the secondary, which itself can still do the job (Micah Hyde anyone, what more does a guy gotta do, hey?).

All week long they've likely been hearing how Atlanta is going to score at will against them, but really, in a game like this, there's more pressure on offenses than defenses. I think the Packers D can surprise some people and get some stops and turnovers.

Oh yeah: joining YATittle man and picking Ha Ha to be the individual defensive hero.

Ha Ha was a beast in his last NFCC game.  minus the 2 pt conv.

Before the Giants game Ammo gave a prediction that we would hold NYG to 17  20 points or less.   That post struck me as wishful thinking at first, but then it called out to me and I become a believer, and then it came true.

Pistol, your post sounded like wishful thinking to me, and then I remembered his performance in the last NFCC game, and now I'm a believer.

Ha Ha is going to have a SURPRISINGLY awesome game, very hero-like.
