‏@TomSilverstein: Packers' three Pro Bowl selections are QB Aaron Rodgers, LB Clay Matthews and C Jeff Saturday.

lol Saturday.

Most deserving Packer who didn't make it was Ryan Pickett, imo. Best season as a Packer. No way he was going to make it but still deserving.

Well that's awkward.......first time ever a pro bowler has been benched in week 16 for performance reasons?
@TomSilverstein: KOR Randall Cobb and guard Josh Sitton were named 1st alternates for #Packers. Other alternates: Kuhn, Raji,T. Williams and Woodson.

Referencing post above, Rodgers is the only Packer starter.
@TomSilverstein: According to NFL, 49ers lead all teams with nine selections: Bowman/Goldson/Gore/Iupati/A. Smith/J. Smith/Staley/Whitner/Willis.

Just like the Cowboys from a few years back. Why don't they win something first.

We're flying under the radar remember.
Saturday turrible selection but also fitting since the PB is such a joke to begin. Woody alternate is purely name recognition. He shouldn't have even been named an alternate.

No issues with CMIII or Raji (who remains underated).
He's a rookie so he had little chance to begin with.

But Casey Hayward is 3rd in the NFL in passes defended, 3rd in INT's, and has a forced fumble.

Hasn't given up a TD and hasn't been flagged for a penalty.
Casey had a slow start to the season. Pretty sure voting closes early so it takes a season to get that push. I think it's much better to have guys that get snubbed in the voting for a little extra motivation going into the playoffs. Rather not have guys feeling better than they are and patting themselves on the back at the most important time of the year. I think a lot of the players look to the pro bowl as proof positive that they're going to get a fat contract when their time is up. Without that there's a motivating factor to make plays and garner respect.

Kansas City had five. Doesn't get much more ridiculous than that.

I stopped reading the article immediately when I saw the Chefs had 5 players selected. That right there tells me how ridiculous the pro bowl voting is.
After watching ten whole minutes of this farce game last year its a good thing for Jeff Saturday that the players have outlawed hitting in the game because he hasnt hit another player all season long.

Jamaal Charles leads the AFC in yards rushing. Tamba Hali is 4th in AFC in Sacks among LBs (interestingly behind his teammate - Justin Houston). Derrick Johnson leads the AFC in solo tackles by a LB.

Those 3 are at least decent picks from a horrible team.
