Thanks for that Armored. Makes me feel good about being a fan. BTW, the one guy was right about Bears fans. Remember when the Saints were playing there after a snowstorm and their fans were bombarded with snowballs all game? Pathetic. Or this classy guy...

Good stuff, Armored. Your posts recently have been great considering the circumstnaces. Gebins.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Lambeau Thursday. Random people would stop on their way to their seats and shake our hands saying things like, "Welcome to Lambeau" and "hope you have a good experience here." The people who sat on each side of us were extremely nice and talked throughout the game. One of the ushers came over before the game and talked for a bit, asked where we were from, etc. After the Packers scored their first TD, he came back, got my attention and pretended to be wiping tears. I smiled while replying, "no, not yet." Once the game was over, we were filing through the masses when the same usher made his way through the crowd, shook my hand and said,"Great game. Have a safe trip back to Mississippi." There were also several others that we interacted with that were nothing but classy. I was very impressed with Packer fans as a whole. There were a few who made little remarks, but none were confrontational. Out of the Packers, Falcons, Redskins and Eagles' fans we've encountered, the Packers are the best, by far.
The Saints are one of the teams I always pull for in the playoffs if the Packers have been eliminated. I could never cheer for a NFC East team or any other team from our division. Hopefully that won't happen again this year Big Grin

Yes, me too. In some ways, I sort of enjoyed that game even more than most of the Packer games I watched that year. Watching a certain ex-Packer snatch defeat right from the jaws of victory there late in regulation was something special and wonderful.
