Positives:

Win!

Bakhtiari held up amazingly well for having a recent appendectomy. Zach Tom played fairly well in relief of Nijman, as well. Jenkins is getting back to his old self, Myers and Runyan were solid.

Alexander on Jefferson much of the game finally.  The Jefferson excuse-o-matic is running on full for whineline.

Solid pass rush. Middle guys exploited Reed at Center rather than let a scrub hold them in check.

Z'Darius Nada!

Turnovers!

Barry: Figured out how to have guys play to win and Savage was an asset again.

Negatives:

Barry. Not only "about fucking time, idiot!", but on Clark's forced fumble/recovery Preston was on Jefferson again in zone. Luckily Kenny blew that up. That can't happen if they make the playoffs.

Watson: Had a poor game. Was interfered with on the one play, but should have caught the one and stayed too wide on the other, not leaving as window to pass to. Those mistakes lose games in the playoffs. Jones' should have had his long pass, as well, but the rest of his game was pretty good. Still, mistake that can't happen if they make the playoffs.

So, your dream game? Packers win big and Watson doesn’t play well?

Looking for attention.  He quoted his own post to try to stir things up because no one would bite.  Just let it die.

It's OK to casually drop certain political comments into threads, and people who have differing views should just shut up.

It's an attitude I see on pretty much every non-politics-related forum I'm a member of, and inevitably, the attitude only runs in one direction.

Watson didn't have a big stats game but he was still effecting it. Early 4Q, GB driving at the MIN 40ish. He goes in motion across the backfield and I counted 3 defenders leaving their spot to shade him.

Slaton, Kenny and Wyatt were active today and they're going to need to keep ascending if they make the playoffs because they're thin at OLB.  Preston is playing his ass off.

Positives:  The Pack knew what happened to Indy a few weeks ago with a big halftime lead, and they made darn sure history didn’t repeat itself on the sacred tundra of Lambeau Field.

Joe Barry’s D is finally playing like we thought they could the last 6 quarters.  Some of it is ineptitude by the last 2 QBs they’ve faced, but they’ve just played much harder than they were playing a few weeks ago.

With a huge opportunity presented to them, they rose to the occasion and played some very good football for most of the day.  It’s been fantastic to watch the turnaround from just a few weeks ago when this team was basically dead in every way.

Pos. Jefferson crying that jaires giddy dance should have been flagged for taunting. How many taunting flags have been thrown for players mocking rodgers belt move. Get over it kid

I heard the same thing from my only Viking friend ....Jaire turned away from Jefferson when he did it, no different than when Jefferson does it. Regardless, I told him it was like throwing a lawn chair off the deck of the Titanic ....it wasn't going to make a difference in the outcome.

This was the first game this year where I saw total team preparation.
From the game plan, to the execution, to the team being ready to bring it. We actually looked like a professional, competent football team.

Many personal accolades; a few are Crosby, Nixon, Jones, Lizard, Cobb, Clark, Douglas, Amos, and Savage.

Blocked punt.
Garbage time TDs.

A positive on that blocked punt was that our goal line defense stopped the vikings cold! They lost yardage on that series and then had to settle for a FG. Then, everything changed because they kicked the ball to Keisean Nixon! The vikings led in the game for, maybe, a minute. It was all Packers after that, until garbage time. GO PACK, GO!!!

One of the most joyous wins I recall since SB45.  Happy New Year, beating MIN, staying in playoff contention, at home, (chef's kiss)!

It was a thing of beauty!!! To add a little more joy, the Bucks beat the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday night and Ohio State, the Minnesota vikings of college football, lost to Georgia, in the Peach Bowl.

I think so too, but if you're going to trash one political party, expect some blowback.  I didn't start it.  And I don't care if you have different political views than mine, everyone's entitled to their opinion.  I don't judge people or treat them any differently because of their political views.  I'm sure there's a lot more people here don't see eye-to-eye on with each other on other than political views.

We've got to get over this my way or the highway mentality and realize we can agree even if it's to disagree, but do it respectfully - maybe even engage in respectful debate.  I'm tired of what the world seems to have come to when if you don't agree with someone, you want to shut them down or berate them.

Politically, I'm a registered independent which means I vote for the people I think will do a good job regardless of party and I've voted for people in both.  I'm equally disappointed in both parties and equally hopeful as well.  I don't think it makes sense to vote along party lines if a politician is complete trash.  I want government to work better and for us which is what we pay taxes for.

But that's all I'm going to say.  I'm not an attention-grabber, I don't care about that, I don't post here as often as a lot of you do.  It's just that when a person takes a shot at an entire political party because he/she feels he/she is right and every other opinion is wrong, that person should allow other people to have an opinion even if it's opposite of theirs.
