Quarless arrested for firing gun

You wonder why Q hasn't really made the jump in this offense over the past few years. Then you read he got in a fight at 5:30am and fired his gun into the ground, twice. 

 

It all makes sense now. He's a dumbass.

Could someone explain to me why we keep wasting time and money on this guy to begin with? If this doesn't send this turd packing nothing will. He obviously doesn't have the skill set nor the mindset to make the leap to the next level. Say goodbye to him already! Q is an idot. It's turrible when a woman yells "No, get away, leave me alone!" to a pro athlete who, obviously, feels entitled to her company. This could definitely earn Q a spot on someone else's bench this season.

This is NOT an athlete who is on his own for the first time with money.  It will be interesting to see if he survives.

 

In other news, Richard Rodgers is now poised for a larger role the offense this season.

Very similar comments to those when Guion got caught with all that smoke and the team welcomed him back with open arms. It'll be interesting to see how they deal with "Q".

Well so much for Q taking that "jump" this season. Should get a lengthy suspension from the NFL for this. RichRod is the better talent and the likely starter anyway, but this hurts the Packers depth at TE.

It's a misdemeanor charge and I'm not convinced the team will abandon him. Certainly on the stupidity scale this one from Q ranks up there. 

Or he was planning on telling the police the gun was planted on him.

Guion's incident didn't involve discharging a weapon or a woman yelling at him to leave her alone.

I could see Quarless surviving this. Abandoning him now would leave the Packers razor thin at tight end.

Quarless has 6 TDs in 4 years. He just pissed away any reason for GB to hang onto him. Q's production isn't anything Dick Rodgers can't cover. ****, Crabtree is sitting home with no plans for 2015. 

 

Ill be be shocked if Q is on the roster by next weekend. 

Not good timing for Q...the focus on cracking down on domestic violence and a woman involved, etc. IMO, buh bye.

No reason for hand gnashing over Quarless. His career numbers are worse than Finleys best year. Quarless is a special kind of stupid.

Well, his history of moronic behavior has been well documented.

I just don't get why these guys insist on putting themselves in these (and similar) situations. It's been a problem for years, and nobody learns. Or more likely, no one cares.

In any case, if he went their armed, I have to assume he was either expecting--or looking for--trouble. Stupid compounds just like interest. But why even go to a place/area like that? Their 'party' should be on a whole 'nother level, as should the ladies they seek.

Since they aren't being forced to, I again have to assume they WANT to. And for what?

Surely there are higher aspirations a young man can have...
