This......I expect MN to put up points on this defense, but GB's (O) should be better and hopefully runs away in the end. If not, I think it one of those neck and neckners. I'm nervous, but the Vikings bring about the absolute worst in me.

It's impossible too to say what MN has in Bridgewater. It's been one game and I'm not basing a prediction off college. So much will go into how opposing defenses eventually game plan against him, and how he is developed as an NFL QB by MN.

Doesn't really matter, Ponder has had a good deal of success against this defense over the previous two seasons (let that sink in for a moment). Hopefully, not having Adrian Peterson will be the difference this time.

On Peterson, it won't matter. The Vikings have a great run blocking line. Those young RBs will get their yards.

@AdamSchefter: Vikings just promoted QB Chandler Harnish from practice squad to active roster, a sign Teddy Bridgewater will not start tonight.

Meanwhile....

@RapSheet: Rejoice #Packers fans. Soon there will be 53 players on the roster. DL Luther Robinson will be promoted from Psquad & on the roster tonight

This will be interesting to watch tonight -

The Norv will want to use play-action as much as possible to freeze both the coverage LBs and the pass rush. The Dom wants to use more 1 gap penetrating DL that aren't as susceptible to freezing vs play action. Jolly/Pickett/Wilson et al always played 2 gap, so they didn't have any pass rush vs play action and teams killed GB with it.

With different body types, assignments and alignments on the DL - we'll see if we can discern any improvement.

They certainly can't ignore the run, but you can play run on the way to the QB IF you are shooting gaps.
