What I did not understand was Freeman or the Vikings did not use any dump off passes in the flat or the middle to AP? I was watching him slip out of the backfield time and time again with nobody paying attention to him (including the QB). It almost seemed like he was only going with his first option coverage be damned. If they have your best by a mile option bottled up you find another much easier way to get him the ball.
Half the time there was only one or two receivers in the pattern. The suck was deeper than the players.
As a GB coach, you have to throw away that game's footage or your players will pull muscles laughing.
For awhile there I thought I was watching Comedy Central.The Giants were terrible, but the Vikings were terribler. Sharif Floyd trying to make like AP on a kick return? A punt returner who falls and drops the ball without being touched? I almost felt bad for Freeman because due to the incompetence and total mess the coach/GM have made of the QB position, Frazier couldn't even take Freeman out of the game for fear that Ponder would come in and save the day, thus making them look like even bigger idots. So Freeman was the sacrificial lamb.
The only thing the Vikings have going for them right now is Patterson as a returner. He can be scary. Their locker room has to be a sinkhole right now. The only bad part is that this week they will be playing their Super Bowl.
