I have a question regarding hotels near Lambeau. I usually go to a game or two a year in GB but have never spent the evening. I live in the Chicago area and needless to say its a long day trip, but worth ever minute! I am planning to take my kid to his first Packer game for the opener on the 9th. I figured since its a late game I would stay over in GB and spend some quality more quality time before driving back Monday morning. I know that hotels for Saturday night book up a year in advance, but I was surprised that the hotels near Lambeau were booked up Sunday night also.

Is this a normal thing?

Do these hotels require a 2 night stay or something?

Do rooms at these places open up the week of the game?

Can anyone recommend a place to stay that is somewhat decent and maybe has a pool open late?

Thanks!

Reason you see hotels often booked on Sunday nights is the same reason your looking at one that night. I have a group of Milwaukee and Racine friends who do about 2 games a year and they just stay up there for the weekend including Sunday night. They don't want to deal with the hassle of driving back on Sunday.

Of course they're also alcoholics and gamblers so they do Oneida as well Big Grin

IIRC they stay at the Radisson by the casino and say it's nice.
