Rake the Rays series thread.

The Brewers offense is offensive.

The Rays starting pitching is pretty freaking good.  

For a second, it didn't look like he was holding a bat.

Then I realized that's essentially what the Brewer offense has done recently....

Talk about being underdogs :

Lauer can't keep the ball in the park and our bullpen is shaping up to be what we feared. No way Jake Cousins belongs in the big leagues. The slider is his best pitch and he can't control it. He's the type of pitcher that the hitter can just be patient and he'll put himself into a hitters count. 36 pitches and only 17 strikes.

Bats have come alive today. Homers by Adames, Tellez and Contreras.  6-3 Crew going into top of 6th.

Joey can play defense

A 4 out save by Williams.   Brewers win 6-4.

Needed that.

The HR by Contreras was huge momentum changer considering the Rays just got back in the game.

BTW, what a great acquisition Owen Miller has been.
