If I were to rank these, I'll go Hornung, Flynn, and Rodgers.
I voted for Hornung in your poll, primarily because he did in an era where the rules didn't favor the offense like they do today.
I ranked Flynn second because it was very unexpected. He wasn't supposed to be able to do that, much less that he did!
And that's unfair to Rodgers, I suppose, but there is no doubt who the best player of the three are.
I have to agree that Hornungs great game against the Colts was bigger as the game favored the defense in that era. I select Rodgers second for these reasons, his performance might have saved the season for GB and 5 of those passes (not all TD's)that Rodgers threw were as good as any I have seen! Flynns game meant nothing like Don Horns 410 yd game against the Bronco's so I consign him to 3rd!

I voted for Hornung first for a couple reasons:

His 5 TD game -- the second-last of the regular season -- was a very big one. The win put the Pack a half game ahead of the colts with one to play. They tied the niners the next week and wound up the regular season tied with the colts, who they beat a third time that season in a playoff shortly afterward. But the 5 TD game was played (from the Pack's viewpoint)in a win-or-go-home setting.

Hornung scored three TDs rushing and two receiving. The non-passing record for TDs in a game is six, set by Gayle Sayers on the same day Hornung scored his five. The passing TDs in a game record is seven, held by five players; there are a whole wad of QBs with six in a game.
