11. Jerry Jones / Stephen Jones, Cowboys
Itโs hard to know for sure whoโs running things in Dallas. Jerry Jones has the official GM title, but his son Stephen Jones appears to be the one making the decisions. Whoever is in charge has done a fantastic job building this roster over the last few years.
Did such a wonderful job of roster building that they have the 4th overall pick in the draft.
The popcorn comment in TT's assessment was hilarious and also true. And I have to agree, we are a spoiled group.
I don't know. They had me going until they drop this daisy:
"If he can add a difference-maker on the offensive side in the next year or two and Teddy Bridgewater develops into a league-average quarterback, the Vikings will contend for Super Bowls (yes, plural) in the next few seasons."
putting the Jonesss in the top half of GMing is a disqualifier right away for me - 11th? really? why? for mediocrity and things like Weeden and Hardy? gimme a break.

A "league average" QB will not get you to the SB unless they build a ridiculous defense ala Denver last season and the Ravens in 2000. And I just don't see them doing that.
Even Russell Favre was playing head and shoulders above anything Teddy has done. And Russell can run.
Thompson at #2 and 4 of his former assistants in the top 15.
I'd try to slide McKenzie in at 10 and Spielman then dropped to Jerryville and that's a list of ten pretty good GMs, at least on paper.
Nutsucking tripe list
This list loses all legitimacy when Jones is ranked 11 and Rick effing Spielman is ranked 8
I liked him lauding TT for knowing when to hand over the "reigns" to Arod.
Aaron Rodgers 8 game season in 2013 is statistically better than Teddy's best full season. And Sister Christian never really happened at the 12 pick. Or Cordoroy. Or the Mike Wallace trade. Or the Greg Jennings signing. Or Chris Cook. Or Xavier Rhodes. Or Matt Kalil.
If that's 8th best then the NFL is ****ed.
But Rick isn't 8th best. He's hanging on for dear life. He sucks. The Vikings suck. But I hope Rick stays around for another decade.
