Ray Lewis - maybe the end of his career

John Harbaugh says not only Ray Lewis but Lardarius Webb done for year with w/torn ACL. Webb just signed $52M deal in April.

Losing Lewis sucks a lot. Emotional leader of the entire team.

Losing Webb sucks even more. That guy was a lockdown CB, capable of covering anybody in the league.

Ravens are in trouble.

and the war of attrition continues... altho it seems to have somewhat accelerated this weekend.

I'm not gonna shed any tears for Ray Lewis.

When he's ready to talk openly and honestly about his role in covering up a murder, I'll listen to him. Until then, he's just another loud-mouth ghetto thug.

We'll never know what really happened. But it wouldn't surprise me at all if Lewis feared these "friends" of his would take out a Lewis family member if he ratted on them. He definitely did not pick his friends wisely back in those days. I don't think he committed the murders, but there's no doubt he knows who did.

Ray Lewis is basically my favorite non-Packer in the NFL. I know he's been involved in some shady stuff in the past, but he was the kind of player I always wanted to be when I played football in my youth (right around when he came into the NFL). I haven't watched him nearly as much in recent years, but up until about 7-8 years ago, he made Ravens games must see TV for me.

I'm a big fan of Ray Lewis. The passion he brings to the field has been a pleasure to watch. I hope he recovers well and is able to leave the game on his own terms.

I hope the injury doesn't hamper his knife wielding skills

He seems to say all the right things, but I sure don't know about the man.

I am expecting the mother of all hall of fame speeches.

I sure won't miss all the media coverage of his preaching.. Entertaining to watch on the field, can not stand listening to his sermons.
