Not certain I agree with your first point.
Your second point: spot on!!
Might be the best quote of 2013.
Let me get this straight...if there's a problem on the roster, you can sign a free agent replacement, or draft a replacement, or do BOTH?
That's some revolutionary thinking there. Just give the McCaskeys the trophy now.
Burnett inactive.
Surely McMillian will be ready to rise to the occasion today.
He's blowing RG3 pregame?
Burnett inactive.
I'm always down for some banjo!
So were they!!
From JSonline:
"Defensive coordinator Dom Capers said that Chris Banjo would be seeing more playing time this week and it looks like he has a chance to start. Banjo had a solid game against Washington and proved better in coverage than Jerron McMillian."
Didn't see much but I'm guessing no news is good news.
Pass defense (pass rush + coverage) hasn't looked great so far. Couldn't hurt to see if Banjo can add something.
The fact that a Jag castoff is playing better than McMillian pretty much says it all. Not giving up on the guy quite yet, but he's increasingly looking like a TT miss.
Sophomore season, some lumps, but McMillan was nothing short of horrible in the 49ers game. Sounds like they are going to go without Burnett and rest both him and Hayward through the bye.
Banjo looks physical, not sure about his cover skills.
Remember how many idiotic fan-generated trades Collins was included in during his second year? I do.
Remember how 'meh' a player Burnett seemed to be in his second year?
I'm not saying McMillian is going to be anywhere near the players these guys are/were, but S is a position that takes some time, especially when you're suddenly without your main guy back there.
I agree that he's been bad so far - you really can't argue otherwise. Let's just see how the season plays out with McMillian getting some games next to Burnett before we decide he's the black AJ Hawk.
B-A-N-J-O and Banjo was his name-o!
Banjo
Pickett
As one cowpoke said to a lonely banjo player, "If you don't stop picking that thing it'll never heal."
Time to stop playing MD and start playing Banjo.
Is he from Georgia?
