He had a great year, but for all the gushing the National sports media does about him, in his two MVP seasons, Denver is 1-8 in the playoffs.

Giannis ended with the third best PER in history, .03 behind Wilt’s ‘61-‘62. If he gets any votes lower than second, somebody should lose their right to vote for the award.

The butt sore from sports personalities because Giannis jilted their big market teams to stay in Milwaukee, is palpable. And pathetic.

Denver isn't a big market either and while Giannis has the third best PER in history, Jokic's PER this year was the highest in history.

The real way to assess value would be which player would you trade for the other. I would guess Denver would trade Jokic to the Bucks for Giannis in a heartbeat.

I get his winning the MVP, and saw his PER was the highest in history. The problem I have is with the lack of respect given to Giannis. It’s almost like he’s an afterthought in the award discussion while he had one of the greatest seasons in NBA history.
