Eddie can go back on the Bama lettuce sandwich diet until then too.
Bama lettuce sandwich.
Why, so he can get fat....ter?
He wasn't / isn't fat.
He wasn't / isn't disinterested.
He was hurt and now he's healthy(ish).
let's see what Crocket can do. Lacy is over the hill for a RB.
Hey! Over here! I'd like to have a BLS without the cheese please and a to-go-wallet.
I think we should hand the ball to Cobb more to see what he can do with the ball since he can't catch it.
He was resting for a month.....lace em up.
Only rest Lacy if he's too injured to play or if we've made the playoffs and our seeding can't get any better. He needs to play himself into shape.
I think he aggravated the ankle injury in the STL game and is now healthy again.
Well, at least Lacy wasn't so hesitant yesterday. He was hitting the line with more decisiveness than he has been for a long time. Maybe it was the ankle, maybe the weight, maybe the coaches just finally said, "Either you get it going and use that weight to go downhill or you can sit your phat butt on the bench."
On KFAN this morning they talked to the Vikes' Robison who said Lacy was a load. Whatever, it was good to see Lacy finally lace 'em up and take it to the Dline.
There isn't a single person on this team that can "rest up".
Let's give Clements a rest, in Argentina.
I am on board with this, especially because I play Eddie Lacy in consecutive weeks. Give some of these younger guys some time.
absolutely not. lacy needs more reps to keep heating up. he's still dancing a bit in the hole and when that stops, he'll look like he has the last 2 yeaers.

I'd be interested to see the splits on Lacy's runs with and without a lead FB. I honestly don't know which approach was better, but at least a lead FB can adjust and hit a guy that's gotten some penetration off the OL.

That makes way to much logical sense.....which means it really has no place here.
Kuhn had a season high 26 snaps on Sunday (if my count was right). Lacy either had Kuhn or a TE or a few times Walker as an extra blocker on all but 3 or 4 runs, again by my count on the re-watch.

+1 for Clements resting but would add Tolzein. Take his uni and give him a ticket to the game.

Thanks. That seems much higher than some recent games. I'd rather see Kuhn or Ripkowski out there than Richard Rodgers. It gives them a lot more flexibility and makes them stronger running between the tackles.
Billy B sees more than a middle finger this week.
Quarless will help in the run game. Much better blocker then Richie or Justin

And Walker didn't help much, those were some of the worst runs.
They have brought in Walker as a 6th several times this year and haven't had any success.
Time to let it RIP!
The plays with Walker in, at least this last game, were extremely slow to develop. I think if Quarless was healthy he would be in that spot and not Walker. Walker just doesn't move quickly enough from that TE line-up as a blocker.
I, too, would like to see a double fullback set in if they're going to bring in an extra blocker.
It wasn't just more Kuhn and the extra OL with Walker, they played Perillo more in the running game. They may finally be admitting that RR can't block consistently. And he didn't add much in the passing game.
Oshbaul is so much smarter than you knuckleheads...why Osh, that is a brilliant idea.
