Also, he was a Wisconsin Badger who played on the Rose Bowl team in 1962 (the last Wisconsin Rose Bowl until the 1990s).
If you watched the recent Bart Starr special you could that Bowman was not looking very good in that show. RIP Ken. Still amazing that Jerry Kramer is one of the few survivors of those great 60's Packers.
He attended UW Law School with my dad. My dad said he was a great guy with a great sense of humor. Bowman (with a smile) said Kramer got all the credit for the block, even though he was in on the combo block.
RIP Ken. I think I saw you at the Eagles club in La Crosse one year. I did get Ray’s and Grabowski’s autographs at one of those dinners. Could swear I had yours too but never found it.
Thanks and Go Pack.
Bowman was such a tough player. Will always think of this clip at the 2:34 mark when I think of him: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yq6hS6mSMrE&t=19s
Great article too by Cliff Christl: https://www.packers.com/news/u...nd-the-ice-bowl-dies
Rest in peace Ken.
One of the most underrated Packers.😢
RIP, Bowman. You were one of the greats.
Key Ice Bowl block for Bart.
RIP
Another good article on Bowman:

Bowman almost didn't snap that ball in time, to which Kramer famously said...."Snap the ball Kenny!" 😁
A great anchor to those great O-Lines in the 60's. RIP Kenny 🥲 You gave us unforgettable memories.
