So per MLF, Saleh will be helping on the OFFENSIVE side of the football. Very interesting.

My thoughts, he's helping Saleh grow as a HEAD coach by diagnosing offensive side of the ball vs. the defense.
Saleh didn't do jack shit on the Offensive side in NY. This position will help him grow and become a better overall coach.
This should quiet any concerns about Hafley leaving for a HC job. Either Hafley or Saleh get a HC gig next year and the other stays in GB as DC.
I wonder what the Jets are thinking right now.
He's going to "reverse engineer defenses" for the Offense. Seems like he could've done a real good job of that in NY to help Aaron and the gang...Nahhhhhhh

They are thinking Super Bowl
I just hope they continue to let Hafley cook on his own, so far so good

Help MLF anticipate how defenses will play him.
If I remember right and even going back a few years, Matt would have a self scout the offense and defense. Methinks this is just another version of it.
We went from Joe Barry to Jeff Hafley AND Robert Saleh. The upgrade is like going from an Ewok to Yoda and Rae Skywalker
Jordan Loveโs impressions on Robert Saleh helping with the #Packers offense:

Get the feeling Hafley is smart enough to know what a resource Saleh could be. MLF won't push Saleh on his territory, but if he's there it would be dumb not to take advantage of what he can bring. (Just leave him the keys to the d line meeting room and let him loose if you ask me ).
If Saleh thinks 8 had anything to do with his dismissal it's an all time ice cold revenge move to try to help MLF win a Lombardi in Green Bay instead of relaxing with his family. Good teams take advantage of bad teams. They should send Woody a Superbowl Ring and a jar of Wisconsin honey if we win this year.

And some cheese curds and brats.
Classic good ole boy - Buddy hire

And here "we" never thought you'd amount to anything.
I could advise on some things. How hard can it be?
Some writers don't need editing. Faulkner. Hemingway.

Nepotism.

The Packers have done this previously when Aubrey Pleasant, formerly the Detroit Lionsโ defensive backs coach and passing game coordinator, was fired mid-season in 2022.
Smart move from MLF.
Pretty standard for coaches to invite coaches they respect, who aren't presently working, to attend practice and give them feedback. I know Coach K would have Pete Newel come in to watch practice back in the day.
Hafley said a while back that Saleh's D was one he used to study when he was at BC. He sounds like a level enough guy to understand he can be a great resource.

I personally love the hire. Can never have enough great football brains around in the organization. Hopefully we see it better the ball club and see results on the field.
Can Saleh coach special teams?
I really love it that they have him there to help. Anything you can do to make the team better and more prepared is a great thing.
And Saleh has to be thinking to himself "so this is what a well ran organization looks like"
Also, if Saleh gets another job he will be from the MLF coaching tree. I know how important that is to everyone.

Maybe Techmo Bowl.
@ByRyanWood:
DC Jeff Hafley on Robert Saleh consulting: "I talked to Robert probably every week for the past 12 weeks. Robert is one of my best friends in this profession."
So, there's no beef there.
Asked Jeff Hafley if he's open to suggestions from Robert Saleh on #Packers defense. He says Saleh only working with offense now, but: "There's one thing that's important to me, and that's winning. So if you've got a great blitz idea, let me know it. If it fits, we'll run it."

The Packers hire Robert Saleh cuz heโs friends with Matt LaFleur.
