This one is going south in a hurry. An error and 4 unearned runs later the Brewers are down 4-0. The last 4 teams the Brewers played were all mediocre at best and the type of teams the Brewers need to beat. Instead they're looking at a 4-7 run against them. The offense seems completely different since Mitchell got hurt.

Time for the offense to get going again. We’ve scored 2 runs in the last 22 innings, and this Rockies team was 9-20 headed into our series.

They had won 4 of their previous 18 games, and the Pirates scored 33 runs against them in a three game series.

These are the kinds of games we have to be winning.

ebb and flow of the season.

Pirates cooled off too.

Mets just got swept at Detroit.   Scherzer and Verlander pitched the last 2 days.

Pirates just got swept at Tampa.

Cards on the verge of getting swept at home by the Angels.

Twins working on getting swept at the White Sox.

Cubs just lost 3 of 4 at Washington.

A lot of crappy teams (not Tampa) sweeping not crappy teams (not the Cubs)  the last 3 days.

The way the batter was stepping in and out I thought he called a 3rd strike on the hitter. Phantom balk for sure and cost the Brewers a run. I've seen a lot of bad umpiring behind the plate so far this year.

Brewers are just in a funk, finding different ways to lose. Cheap hits, bad calls, bad bounces, and any other breaks that are going against them. Miley was brilliant through 6 and turned the ball over to the best bullpen in the NL and it slips away. 7th and 8th inning guys falter big time.
