A game this big with so much riding on playoff seeding should not be taking place with two days of practice and travel.

This means Rodger is cool with weekday playoff games.

FU Rodger.

And because it's Football.

The ONLY redeeming quality of this game is the opportunity to watch Andy Reid fill his pants full of **** like he's known to do in big games.

Hes off to a flying start. Horrible challenge and a terrible 4th and 1 call.

Still. Thursday night football needs to end.

NFL did eliminate EARLY London games in 2017 due to piss poor rating and jet lagged players. Very much agree on TNF. These players need time to recup from Sunday.

If the NFLPA was worth a schit in union negotiations, they would nix that in the next contract. Needless to say, I'm sure they will fukk that up.

I am working on it. I just got off of being on call. Party time!!!!!!

That punt return for 7 is 100% on Oakland. After the penalty you don't kick to the middle of the field and expect a tired coverage team to cover again. Kick that ball into row 2 and move on.

Hill is crazy good.

This is a review in terrible coaching. Del Rio style.

Oakland is down 8 with 2:40 left in the 4th facing 2nd and 10 on the KC 23 with two time outs remaining.

Oakland runs for 9 yards setting up 3rd and 1 with 2:28 left and the clock running.

There are only two options in play here. You run the ball to pick up the 1st down before the two minute warning or you let the clock run down to the two minute warning and then run the ball to pick up the first down. Again. Those are the options. Those have to be the only options. If you don't get that yard on 3rd down. You run it again on 4th down. Oakland was averaging close to 5 per carry. They are getting that yard.

What Oakland did was run a fade pass to the end zone before the two minute warning. Incomplete.

But let's say that pass is a TD. Oakland still needs the 2 point conversion and gives KC two minutes and three time outs to try to attempt a FG.

Oakland threw another bad fade pass on 4th and 1 and that was ballgame.

I don't get bad coaching. I don't get why this stuff is so hard for people that have been around football forever to get. This one was pretty well laid out. 3rd -1 2:28 left down 8 with the clock running on opponent 14. You can't win the game on that play. But you can do a lot of things to **** up your chances of winning if you overthink things.

Oakland was in love with the fade pass last night. Threw 'em all over the field, and most weren't even close to being caught. And still, fade after fade.
That's the kind of stuff that makes me wonder if the fix is in.....

Ditto all other comments regarding TNF. This may have been the best matchup they had all year, and it was as big a turd as most other TNF games have been.
Unfortunately, it may take a 20 week/18 game schedule to appease everyone involved; the networks, the advertisers/sposors, the league, the owners, and ultimately, the players.
Not sure how it can be done without negotiating a new CBA, and I don't think anyone wants to open that can o' worms anytime soon.

Carr's accuracy was off last night likely due to the damaged 5th digit on his throwing hand in that cold. 100% health to the throwing hand and 50°F or better temps and the fade likely works. Still, RTFB and they get the 1st.

I didn't watch the game last night because honestly I have kind of sworn off TNF since the games are usually a bad matchup or the quality of the game is bad.

I think we are eventually headed to a 20 and 18 game schedule but they are going have to shorten the preseason to do that.  If they don't the NFL could be playing until after spring training starts and have the Super Bowl on Easter.  I am kidding of course but if you are serious about player safety lets dial back the TNF games which most people hate anyhow and lets not go down the path of TNF playoff games.

In college, Tyreek Hill's pregnant girlfriend confronted him about rumors he'd been hitting on underaged girls, so he choked her and punched her in the stomach. I would take an eternity of 5-11 over ever having to justify cheering for that.

I agree with you, but we have Letroy Guion.

For years, Starke police had responded to domestic violence allegations between Guion and Krystal Troutman, the mother of his daughter. The repetitive nature of the altercations was noted in police reports.

The domestic disputes occurred between 2011 and 2013, when Guion was a member of the Minnesota Vikings. They went unreported and unnoticed just before an unsightly stretch in which public outcry over domestic violence incidents began to engulf the NFL.
