Just spent the last 30 minutes jury rigging a portable HD antenna to try and get the Packer game from Eau Claire to come in. Finally got it...so I get to watch the Packers today on a 20 inch TV set up right in front of my 47 inch flat screen.

*As a side note...Direct TV just jobbed us this week. For the last 2 years we have been able to watch the Packers through our antenna connected to the satellite box. But our box went out and when Direct TV came they said they don't use that box anymore and put in a new box which does not allow us to connect our antenna into the box. They said we can't have that now because we were benefiting from "old technology". Pretty scary when the "new technology" makes things worse.

Well, I can watch the game now...but can't DVR it since we can't connect into the Direct TV box. Darn new technology....making my life more difficult.

A well positioned roof antenna will allow most of those folks to pick up the WI stations. If I lived in that area, I'd set up the biggest, ugliest roof antenna anyone's ever seen if it helped me avoid having to watch Vikings games.
