Yup, nothing flashy about a small city, hardworking, patient, draft & develop, football team that wins. But that is the GB Packers. Consider this, those teams with the real flashy QBs? How many of them have a REAL backup? Someone who can come in and move the team? Probably not many and maybe not any. We found out how developed Painter was for the Colts this year. What happens if Brady goes down? In GB we have Matt Flynn and a guy on the PS who is further along than most of those other teams backups. Good to be a Packer fan these days.
About the boring AR - he needs to say something like "I can outplay all those other guys - in fact there isn't a defense that can stop me!" He'd get media attention all right. But we also know how it's worked so far for the guy who really did say it - no thanks. AR - stay like you are.
