Compared to the ego of some other great QBs like Elway and Marino and Brent I think the Rodgers interview was OK.

What I appreciate about the guy is that he's not just some cliche spouting NFL player. He actually takes the time to think about what he's going to say and how he's going to say it.

I also don't mind the fact that he doesn't like giving interviews and wants some privacy. He's paid to QB the team. That's it.

Give the guy credit for not punching that dbag in the face that questioned his size. I mean, really?
@ESPNMilwaukee
RODGERS: "(On 60 Minutes piece) "Editing of the piece could have been done in a way that was a lot more respectful of myself."

@ESPNMilwaukee
Rodgers: Unhappy w/ lack of attention to @maccfund, lack of mention of kids...
4 months and they had only 10 minutes of what they decided as useful, and pertinent?

@WesHod
After opening up life for 4 months to show, Rodgers felt the editing could have been done in a way that was more respectful of himself
It's possible I just don't get his style of humor, but the more I hear/read about Arod, the more he comes across to me as a whiner.

My hero worship with athletes died with Favre. Never again.
Amen.Always thought he was rather cocky. Not the worst thing on earth,I guess. I don't get this saint Aaron bit that so many fans seem to believe. Just keep throwing RDs, Aaron and we are all good.

Right... so nice to have a positive role model as your franchise QB.

Saw the 60 Minute piece and the post game interview. Seems people are more worked up about it than meets the eye. If Rodgers is upset for 60 Minutes not focusing on his philanthropy, I can see why. This is pretty much a rehashing of every piece that has already been done (scholarships, Green Room, Favre, etc.). Maybe Rodgers wanted to get past all of that and focus on what he is doing outside of football?
