I know I'm in the minority but I think you play

Rodgers Thursday. It's a small risk but that's the business. Not playing him is effectively throwing the towel in on the season.

The way our defense is playing there's not much chance of victory against their passing attack.

Yeah I guess it's possible to run the table the whole month of December against 3 playoff contenders and get help for Detroit and Chicago but all that falling into place still seems much less likely than Rodgers breaking his collarbone in successive starts.

Only the Packers know for sure. But if Rodgers shoulders in not significantly healed it is not a small risk playing Rodgers, his shoulder will easily break. Remember Detroit plays dirty. I take Lang's comment about them as a warning to what may happen to Rodgers. Detroit will try to reinjure  his shoulder. By playing him the Packer's risk losing Rodgers for the rest of this season, maybe next season, maybe forever.

Can't play him until he's medically cleared. GB is one of the better teams when it comes to handling the players and their well being, so they won't be putting Rodgers on the field until the medical staff gives MM the call

Him practicing today doesn't even mean he should be ready for next week. He's only been cleared to practice. Who knows when the medical staff will actually clear him for games
