If Janis wants an NFL career, he better get on the same page as AR and put down the video game controller. Being a special teams demon only counts for so much for so long before you're on the street like Jarret Bush.

Isn't Abbrederis the guy who's more in trouble? Janis does have a role, and he's excelled at it. It's Abbrederis that will need to fight for a job.

From today's first practice:

Fifth-round draft pick Trevor Davis hauled in a nice deep ball, and he came back on his next rep to break off the go route and snag another pass on an in-cut. It was a memorable first impression for the speedy Cal receiver.

It's pretty crazy watching a WR kid in Green Bays locker room with the WR names on the lockers in the background trying to absorb how things broke the right way that he's playing in the NFL catching passes from Aaron Rodgers.

Study hard Trevor.

Trevor Davis spends two years in a pass first offense catching passes from the first pick in the draft. And he lands in a spot with a massive upgrade at QB. Charmed life.

I like Kenny Clark and Spriggs picks more. But Davis could be a faster version of Antonio Brown in Green Bays offense.

I live 35 minutes away from Berkley. I've lived with Bay Area hype of every pro prospect for the past few years. I'm not saying he's going to be Antonio. I'm saying he could if he puts in the work and effort. I think he gets his opportunity. I think Ty does too. He's a smart 5th round pick.

Cal, Stanford--these are schools that don't take fools. I like those odds. Don't think AR will be dissing him like he's been dissing some of his WRs for their lack of commitment to the playbook.

Cal spread the ball around to 7 receivers. 6 of them WR's. Treggs had the best Sr season. Signed with SF as an UDFA. Trevor is a better WR. Better route runner.

Raymond Hudson is going to be a good TE next year.

Holy route tree...he's already better than Janis! !

C'mon guys....what's a few explosives & a single bomb on a plane?!?

Completely innocuous comment. 🙄

Don't worry....this little incident won't affect his roster spot, I'm sure.

He's practically Brandon Cooks only faster!

In a fair and just society. He'd be put on the "No Fly" list so the dumbass had to Greyhound it to all the roadies.

It's remarkable how airports have become the professional athletes kryptonite over the years. Might be time to have TSA attend the rookie symposium.

Apparently, you haven't witnessed his bathroom habits after a visit to Taco Bell.

In California, a Criminal Threat charge (Penal Code section 422) has a number of required elements that are missing here, the main one being, the statement has to be intended as a threat.  This was clearly intended as a joke, the worst one ever told under the circumstances and about as dumb as you can possibly be.

Stupid as **** but there's no way he'll be convicted.  The D.A. might even reject it outright.

I don't give a crap just saying.

Pistol - you realize there's a couple of federal statutes he may have violated as well.  So it may not matter what the DA thinks if he was arrested for a federal violation.  I doubt much of anything comes of this, and it probably shouldn't.  But too often, stupid people do stupid things with no recourse.

Good point, I missed that in the initial read.  I don't know How CA works, but I'd like to see something where he has to agree to perform some type of community service in lieu of charges.  And then No charges filed after a period of time if he completes his agreement.  I think some states refer to it as a stet docket.

Deleted per order of national clean-up committee

I thought Ponder and Cordoroy were locks. I thought Kalil was a franchise tackle with a hot mom. I thought James was a 10 sack DE. I thought Treadwell couldn’t miss!

I have been dead ****ing wrong about every draft pick for 8 straight years. I honestly don’t know one damned thing about scouting or grading talent. Not a thing.

But a Viking fan trying to make a point on draft misses is Ray Charles screaming at Helen Keller to tell Stevie Wonder he might be facing the wrong way while they’re all playing around with cross bows.
