Bring on Purdue!
66-77 BADGERS WIN!!!
GREAT to see Kamari McGee back on the floor. He is spark the Badgers have been missing. Their inconsistent play started when he got the foot injury. These guys can turn this around and make a deep run in the NCAA.
During the last minute and a half, the Badgers had trouble getting the ball inbounds and past center court and also threw a lot of bad passes that became turnovers. Yes, it was garbage time, but that crap has to end. It looked more like pinball than basketball. Purdue will eat us alive if we continue with that kind of poor play.
Game balls, IMO, go to Chucky Hepburn and Kamari McGee. Solid D by both guys and they gave the team the offensive spark that was needed to win.
Not too worried about the last 1 1/2 minutes. Rutgers had 5 of their top 8 players in the game while the Badgers had 4 guys who played less than 2 minutes the whole game. It was slightly concerning when the Badger starters were having troubles earlier before Gard emptied the bench.
