Former NFL quarterback Ryan Leaf was arrested on a misdemeanor domestic battery charge in Palm Desert, California, on Friday.
Leaf was arrested around 2 p.m. local time and is being held at the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility in Banning, California, on $5,000 bail, according to the Riverside County Sheriffâs Department. Leaf is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.

He actually was a halfway decent announcer for college football. I donât like his chances of keeping a job after this.
He grew up a lot from his NFL days but still seems to have a self destructive streak in him. I feel bad for his mother who seems like she tried very hard to help him but he continues to be a f$!k up even when given golden chances to turn things around.
