The Vikings finished 30th in scoring D in 2022. They then fired their DC Ed Donatell after just 1 season.
There are just two 1st round picks that I can think of on the Vikings 2023 D.
One of them (Harrison Smith) is 34 and so old he was taken one pick AFTER the Pack took Nick Perry. The other one (Lewis Cine) doesn't play, at all.
The Vikes are currently 5th in scoring D under new DC Brian Flores and have given up 3 points in the first half of today's game (after Cincy put up 34 last week).
In Green Bay, the debate is whether career failure Joe Barry will be getting a 4th year as the DC.

The fact the Vikings have Flores and not the Packers is 100% on MLF....and his own job should be questioned for that decision.
