And there it is.
Game over in NE
suck it cheatriots!
I seriously don't know WTF Romo is talking about. He's saying things like the GOAT needs offensive help around him. This makes no sense to me.
Oh yeah, fuck the Patriots.
I love the fact it effectively ends on a pick 6.
Oh Hank, Romo is an apologist for QBs. Sheesh!
The Patriots must feel deflated after that loss.
Say, did you guys hear this could be Brady's last home game at Gillette?
Good games today!

No. No they aren't.
Yes. Yes they are.

Agreed, good fun! Today has been a fun day in toadland. That back and forth on penalties was amazing, it was great to have Romo explain and see the padawan take the high ground on the Emperor.
Watch out for the Titans, with that running game and D, they will be a force in the future in the AFC.
Derrick Henry is a beast. You can see that some guys do not want to tackle him, he’s a load and a half.
Boohoo on old man Brady not having WR...they have Edelman, went out and got Phillip Dorsett, went out and drafted a 1st round WR, went out and traded for Mohamed Sanu, etc....have great receiving backs in James White, Sony Michel, etc... biggest thing is losing one of the best TE in NFL history.
Boohoo cheaters !!
Belichick as cheery as ever in his post game press conference. I feel sorry for the beat writers for the Pats. What a dingus BB can be in those press conferences.

I will say this though, Tom Brady is a class guy, handling his press conference a million times better than Belichick did.
BB just might let Brady walk and just be happy with a comp. draft pick and lots of cap room.

Did they ask BB how he felt having the loophole used against him? When he did it to Jets, NE was up by 33. Just desserts.

Would have been a good time to ask him about videotaping the Bengals sideline.
Said he was trying to expose the loophole. Crazy it came back to kill him

I’ll just say this. Seconds after Brady’s pick six with 12 seconds left in the game. With everyone losing their shit about what just happened. Romo, “This is gonna sound crazy..... but that’s the best thing that could have happened to New England in this situation. And I think Tennessee will go for two” And I’m pretty sure everyone watching took a few beats before thinking, fuck. He’s spot on right.
Romo is really good. His delivery might suck. But he’s really good.
Taking the knee was braindead obvious.
Between taking the knee or the pass being incomplete or a pick 6, the one thing you want if you want the Patriots to win is the play to be a pick 6.
If it was incomplete, I think getting 99 yards in one play is less likely than returning a kick for a TD.
But how sweet would it be if the “GOAT’s” last NFL pass was a pick six?

It isn't only BB's call. Trust me. BB would've never traded Garappolo - Good old Bobby Rub 'N' Tug has a big say in this.

The best thing to happen is a pick 6??
Both road teams had chances to win yesterday.
What I kept thinking.....too many people were picking the Titan upset. Somehow the Pats would win. It ends meekly with a pick 6. LOL
I want to see all the Patriots jerseys & hats now. Let's see where the real fans are.
Brady passed the torch to.....Tannehill?!?!
New England was hosed the minute they knew they were hosting a wild card game.
No team has benefitted more over the years than the Patriots getting a 1 or 2 seed. Host at least one playoff game if not two.

Pedmo will have to to make a run to The Thrifty Shopper now to get rid of his Pats gear he bought last week!

That will be Krafts call
All the talk that this could be Brady's last game, in this stadium, because he's a free agent, got me wondering if Spielman would try to sign him. Spielman might have to release Cousins to afford Brady! LOL! Getting viking hopes up and dashing Cousins' would be really sweet.

Almost as sweet as Brent throwing an INT to New Orleans in the NFCCG in Mpls.
Belichick has no class in his body. It is very enjoyable watching him lose.

Cousins' contract is guaranteed. They save no money by cutting him.
After the pick 6 I called him Tom Favre.....Jameis Brady. 😆

What’s more likely:
- A 99 yard TD, of which there have been 13 all time in NFL history. (on a play where the receiver is working back towards the QB at his own 10)
- Gaining at least 65 yards, getting out of bounds, and kicking a FG in less than 15 seconds (on a play in which the receiver touched the ball with 12 seconds left working back towards the QB at his own 10)
- A kickoff return for TD
If the pass was simply incomplete you’re left with only the option of a 99 yard TD
In a group of unlikely options, the most likely way to score points is via kickoff return.
And obviously the pick 6 was the best scenario for NE vs TN intercepting the ball and just falling to the ground, kneeling and winning.
I don’t think Romo is all that great, but yeah, he was absolutely right. The most likely scenario for NE is score any points at their own 1 with no TOs and 15 seconds left was a KO return for TD and play for OT
Now, in terms of NE playcall, I’d argue the better option was to throw a Hail Mary as far as you could hoping for DPI vs a 9 yard route and pray for laterals to get you 99. But, that’s a different conversation.
Pats lose 4 of their last 6 after starting 8-0. Age catching up to them? Bilicheat just worn out as Lombardi was with the Packers? If Belicheat should suddenly retire will Brady stay?

In a different way he entertains me more that any color man since Madden.

Racist ~
I think Romo is referring to a pick 6 in that if the ball was intercepted and the defender immediately falls down - the game is over.
But returning it for a TD, there was still time left on the clock. So the Pats were gonna get the ball in some fashion as opposed to not getting it back.
I don't think he actually meant it was a "good thing".

He is really good and I like his delivery.
I think Romo is excellent in the booth,
