One negative
Niners playoff hopes are still mathematically alive.
Only positives tonight:
EDGERRIN COOPER IS HIM.
Love was very good.
Doubs, Watson, and Reed were good.
Kraft was good.
OLine was very efficient.
Jacobs was awesome, in the first half.
McManus remains very solid.
Brooks, Wyatt, and the rest of the DLine showed up.
Valentine and Nixon (despite the 2 iffy calls) were good.
Nothing too deep means X is doing his job and nice to see Williams back.
Jlove near70%.
+ first half offense and defense
+ winning in that hellhole
- second half offense
- the 6 bouts of crippling PTSD I went through through in the last quarter
Just a different feel to this team compared to last yr this time. I think this team knows that.
Positives
Edgerrin Cooper
Jordan Love played error-free football
Pass rush even without blitzing
Very good pass protection
McManus is so consistent you don't even notice him
Waiting on Quay Walker, but no serious injuries (Watson probably just got the wind knocked out of him
Win next week and they are in. They hold tiebreakers over both the Rams and Seahawks (who are the only other wild card teams that can still win 11 games), so they might even clinch at least the 6 seed with a win. No real difference in my opinion between the 5th and 6th seed (play either Tampa Bay/Atlanta or LA Rams/Seattle). It's big to avoid the 7th seed which would likely be a first game at Philly or at Detroit.
Negatives
Whelan struggled a bit
MLF got very conservative. That's not going to work against Philly or Detroit.
+
Cooper played his ass off. Normally, Collinsworth takes are a bit much. But he is spot on when he says Cooper will be a very special player for years to come.
Doubs is also him. When that kid is healthy and focused, he's a hell of a WR.
Pass rush was very very good tonight.
-
Someone find MLF a different decider on challenges. 0-6 now I believe. Someone is feeding him a lot of stupid on these calls.
Josh Myers. Can't wait to see what Monk offers in '25.

Who the hell would roll their eyes at that?
The Seahawks defense came in playing really well the last month but the Packers had faced the toughest defensive schedule in the NFL and moved the ball on everyone.

They can go on the road and face down any defense in the NFL
Couple nit pick results on D but overall they showed composure, command and speed like we haven't seen as fans enough.
++++A win in Seattle. 7 Sacks. Did we miss Cooper and Williams, or what? Romeo Doubs with an amazing TD catch. Watson with a gorgeous catch. Jacobs is a stud. Love had a lot of time, on most plays. McManus hit all his kicks. Valentine with an INT. Loins lose, at home. Can da Bares win tomorrow night?
-----Whelan had an iffy punt. D had trouble stopping Charbonnet. When we sputtered a bit, in the 2nd half, I felt we were giving Seattle new life. Any injuries sustained. MLF and his challenges.
Any way you slice it, that's pretty damn impressive..
Packers have seven sacks from six different guys and 12 QB hits from nine different guys.

+ Doubs!
Arron Mosby, a defensive lineman, has more PBUโs tonight than Eric Stokes has in 3 years

Only negatives I saw were Cooper's drop pick and Love missing a wide open WR downfield before Jacobs fumbled. Those were two huge plays that were there to be made and we didn't. Completely nitpicking tonight but against the Eagles or Lions in the playoffs, those plays need to be made.
First, a bit of historical perspective.
The most wins by a division in NFL history goes to the 1984 AFC West, whose five teams won a total of 51 games (they went 51-29).
Denver 13-3
Seattle 12-4
Oakland 11-5
Kansas City 8-8
San Diego 7-9
That division had a .638 winning percentage.
The NFC Northโs teams right now are a combined 37-17:
Detroit 12-2
Minnesota 11-2
Green Bay 10-4
Chicago 4-9
The North has a .685 winning percentage.
This division is brutal.
And the Packers, who have the youngest roster in the NFL, are in the thick of that division. We may not win the North, but three playoff teams are coming from the black and blue division.
The defense, a few mental lapses aside, showed up tonight. The youngsters on the defensive side are starting to make a real impact. Lukas Van Ness. Edgerrin Cooper. Kingsley Enagbare. It seems like guys are stepping up and making plays every week.,
The offense was not in sync much of the second half, and yet we still put up 30 points.
I look at progress almost as much as I look at team record. I want to see the Packers moving in the right direction every week. And this young team is doing that.
I projected that 2025 would be the season when this team took the step to the next level. Weโre getting healthy, and barring an upset, we should be 11-4 after seeing the Saints.
Matt LaFleur still does things that makes my con clench on occasion. But I am very pleased with this team. The arrow is pointing straight up.
+ The first half was one of the best halves of football the Pack has played this year.
+ After a brief rough patch, the fantastic plays by Cooper and Doubs put the dagger into the Seahawks and broke the โcurseโ of that God forsaken stadium.
- I guess the only negative is the win actually helped the Vikings clinch a playoff berth. Despite that, I still am happy!!! ๐
I know this much ....
The Packers will be a tough out in the playoffs. Nobody wants to play them. Nobody. If they ever put 4 quarters together, they're the #1 team in the NFL and will beat anyone.
I'm with you, Boris, from here on out.
@RobDemovsky: Christian Watson said he just got his shin cleated by the defender but is fine.
So will he be back by training camp next year?
@R MaN posted:Even Philly ?
Especially Philly. Packers had em in week #1 and let it slip away. Did you forget how happy Philly was to beat the Packers?? They know. Philly knows.
You wanna be the best? You gotta BEAT the best.
Philly is all about Saquon. They'd be 8-6 or worse without Saquon. That will be the challenge. I'm all about it.
+ Letโs not forget all the Packer fans who were continually drowning out the Seahag fans. Packer fans travel well!
I was expecting 5-10 false starts tonight. Loud stadium, artificial enhancement. Road jitters. I think they had 1. Glad to be wrong. O lIne played awesome.
- The Packers didn't really give Dan Campbell any more reason to fear them.
As I watch SportsCenter, let me reiterate how much I like these whites. Would love to see a Penn State style white-out at Lambeau some time.
You're beginning to sound like Goldie there.
I think the second half wasn't MLF getting conservative , but rather mistakes by the players. Jacobs fumble, Love misfire for a downfield 30 yard gain, Watson not seeing a pass, and Reed falling down on a cut, all cost us drives.
Only real negative is the lack of a complete game that they're going to need to defeat the better teams. Won't get away with that second-half offensive lapse against playoff teams.
